  1. With both FRS1 and FA2 options...
  2. Thanks Olly...those mixes look fine on your models.
  3. Hi Olly - if you have the colours and ratios easily to hand, that would be most useful. I've been trying to find Xtracolor X556 (Thomson's Dark Blue) for ages, but it's sold out everywhere I've looked and Hannants suggested they probably won't do another batch...so mixes will be the order of the day! many thanks. Dave R.
  4. Nice looking models Olly. just out of interest, what paints did you use for the 2 blues?
  5. Special Hobby make a Vc kit with Buerling's markings (for S). https://www.specialhobby.eu/en/our-own-production/big-sale/supermarine-spitfire-mk-vc-malta-defender-1-48.html?cur=1&force_sid=u3mf6albgn8bu9r106f6b0l382&lang=1&redirected=1 I've made a version of this kit (Seafire) and it was Ok, but looking at the Eduard kit, only in the box so far, I'd go with that one.
  6. That camouflage makes it look a bit like the Hasegawa iDOLM@STER range. I wonder if they will be the first to produce a kit of it.
  7. Well, if this thread is still going strong then i'd really like the UK Harrier Retirement schemes in 1/48 to accompany the 1/72 set Hannants have already done...
  8. I see that Hannants have the Xtradecal X72185 sheet – UK Harrier Retirement schemes in stock. Are there any plans to produce these in 1/48 scale too...seeing that the Airframe sheet seems quite hard to come by...?
  9. Can't wait to see this one completed...looks great! Go for 1/48...
  10. Great build and a bargain at £20. Thanks for sharing.
  11. Great to see this being built. I'll have to follow progress so i can get some tips for when I try to do a big Hornet.
  12. Of course it could be a scale model of Leonard Nimoy...but that would be illogical...
  13. Thank You for sharing red baron 5, that is an excellent build. Would love to see the detailed build thread, if there is one, or at least get some insight on how you achieved the weathering.
  14. Great job. I'm hoping to do a Trumpeter 1/32 F/A-18 someday. I'll bookmark this page for reference. Do you have a build thread for this too?
  15. Spectacular. Many thanks for sharing the pictures, build log and list of modifications and additions.
  16. Will be watching this one with interest and I'll start saving the pennies, in case it turns out as good as I hope it does.
  17. Really looking forward to seeing this build develop.
