  1. In fact, three of the Revell 1/72 P-51 Mustang Mk III RAF versions on E-Bay UK at the moment.
  2. I picked one up off Flea bay the other week, but I needed to go Flea Bay International rather than UK only. There were a lot in the German site (all for reasonable postage) and a good few in the US.
  3. I believe the codes are not an issue as we tick the list as a Tier 1 Partner. We don't fight stealthy wars...is that because we have never had the capability before ? Air Defences will be getting better year on year and frankly we need to future proof our aircraft as best we can, and until we go down the UCAV route, stealth will be the best way to protect the aircraft and its most important asset, the growbag driving it. Come the first punch-up following its introduction, the F-35 will be in on the first night, enabling whatever Government is in power to blather on about being the best pals of the US etc etc...
  4. That really is a lovely looking aircraft. Well done.
  5. 1st & last particularly atmospheric. Lovely.
  6. Firstly start your E-Mail OC BBMF, CO on an RAF Station is Harry Staish (The Station Commander). When I was on the Flight research was done by members of the groundcrew as just another area of their job, not by a specialised research company. Should the paint schemes be found to be wrong, I would suggest they would simply be too busy to worry about it at this stage of the season, and unless there is a real Flight Safety issue here, would not take an aircraft off line for a paint job when frankly 99% (including BM'ers till this moment) of the public watching just want to see PZ flying and as far as they are concerned in a SEAC scheme. However as Tired&Emotional has alluded to things are never as simple as they seem, research is an interesting thing. Last year Eduard released the Mk IX including decals for the all silver MJ250, they had the nose panel in front of the cockpit camouflaged, BBMF had the same aircraft with a silver panel. And both took their thoughts from the single B&W picture that is the only evidence. Who is right, who is wrong, you decide.....sorry that's Big Brother..... Interesting thread though, and I do agree a quick acknowledgement E-Mail should have been sent by someone.
  7. Oh dear, yet another for the stash.............it will see the light of day when Airfix come to replace it in 2028.....
  8. I would guess the V-22 Osprey was one of Mildenhall based cabs.
  9. Cobblers. There are extra servicing lines being brought on line at Marham, Boscombe & and I believe Valley to service the INCREASED number of Hawk T1's being brought out of Shawbury Storage.
  10. Criticism ???? Not likely..... Top bike mate, although seat looks does not look comfortable for a long cruise....
  11. Blimey, you've shown a picture of the Seasprite model with all its rivets visible,,,,,,,,,,,,,, Blasphemer.......stone him........... Good kit by the way..........
  12. Can we get some really big blown up shots, I want to count rivets and be the first to proclaim it is unbuildable and ask why Airfix cannot produce an aircraft to the standard of TamigawaHobby at a half of the cost. Looks really great, something else for the stash.....
  13. Bugger, more pocket money going.....
  14. That's a great model mate. I do like the windows knocked out for the machine guns. But I did not know about the holes in the windows for guys to shoot out of. Everyday a school day eh.
  15. That is a really lovely model mate. Would be very happy with that. I remember BMW models, they went bust because people kept photocopying the decals .....
  16. SU-25's ? Right aircraft, but where are the pilots, groundcrew etc coming from in reality ? To be honest, the jets look knackered.
  17. To be fair, those Chinook that turned up at Liverpool docks (including the one that rolled into a building), went to Boscombe and stayed for a very long time with the software issues actually did stirling working by getting robbed for their major components, the fleet was looking pretty stuffed at one point, eight sets of Fwd and Aft heads, Combiner Xsmn etc was a gift being as how the ChIPT had neglected to buy enough bits and bobs to keep the cabs flying.
  18. Curried Horse ? Frikandel mit Curry ketchup anyone....
  19. Flippin heck, looks like another kit I will have to go search for this weekend as a priority, that way it can go into the stash in the garage for the next few years
