Modelling History:

My boyhood arc was very much aircraft 6-13 (fuelled by Airfix (strictly series 1-3) and later FROG, with a side of solid balsa and flying rubber, educated by AotFP vol 1-6)

I moved on to AFVs 11-15, (mainly WWII) with a side of destroyers and cruisers (failing miserably at my one larger scale sailing boat).

I moved on to figure modelling 14-18, starting off with wargame figures, going through 20-25mm Airfix, Hinchliffe and Minifigs, 15mm, 1/300 (madness!) and then 54mm (Airfix, Historex, commercial white metal then home cast). My figure collection survived and has recently been put back on display after 31 years in boxes in the garage:

Then moving out, college, girls, beer, work, life, cars, DIY, children... Back into the hobby in 2009, now mainly aircraft again but with a smattering of other subject types to keep it real. And addicted to Britmodeller!
