Thanks for all your replies, everyone. I think i'll resist the urge for a few paydays and pick up one of those airbrush/compressor combos....I honestly didn't realise they could be picked up so cheaply.

Hello everyone, frequent listener/first time caller..... I'm tempted to buy something like this.... http://www.amazon.co.uk/Badger-Airbrush-Pr...d=1F2GEJ90BMUAK I'm not too worried about needing propellant as there are only a few tasks I need it for. I only want to do the things that are a nightmare to brush:- 1: Luftwaffe yellows and whites, white P-40 tails, white Mustang noses....that kind of thing. 2: A pre-decal gloss coat. 3: A post weathering flat coat. .....and that's pretty much it. (I've tried doing a Humbrol Matt Cote straight from the tin and it was awful) Would something like the above do the job?
