  1. After looking at thousands of model pics and seeing almost the same number of schemes and hues of the colors, this is my interpretation... Still will be modifiedqith filters, etc...
  2. Gracias, Francis!!! Muy amable Let see how it looks with the camo
  3. Glad to see you like it Finally decided the scheme... Hope to post pics soon!!
  4. Thanks, Francis! I should have done this AFV-modeling thing years ago! I'm really enjoying it!
  5. Thanks for the compliments, Ian! Eyesight is still not bad... Or at least not bad for someone with almost half a century Weathering tracks... My first ones!!! God, this is waaay fun!!!
  6. Thank you, mates I'm giving a look to some late three tones schemes and I see there arent two Jagd models using the same tones... Sometimes they use a dark chocobrown while others use something more close to orange... The green is almost the same... While someones are using a very light green others use a dark one... Are all of those hues correct??
  7. I have a little question for you, german AFV experts How correct would be if I leave the whole model in dunkelgelb with some handpainted markings? I've read that such kind of things were not uncommon at the end of the War... Thanks in advance!!
  8. Hi there! A couple of thin Surfacer 1000 layers and were ready to go for the paint
  9. Thanks a lot, mate! Now trying to decide about the paint scheme...
  10. So, this puppy its almost ready for painting Here you've a few pics on the raw model...
  11. Thanks guys! Now waiting for another set ot towing cables... The set I purchased is way too short Needed to do a bit of soldering to get only one of the lenghts I need.
  12. Not needing a microscope... Still A pic about how its turning out the rear area of the Jagd.. Still need to change some minor thingie I'm not full satisfied about... Grilles are still not glued that's why they're a bit out of position...
  13. Sometimes I go a bit crazy with the details.... This is the side jackrest block support the Jagd carries in its right side... I built the L shaped profiles with thin (very) plastic stripes, so seven pieces there... Oh well...
  14. Yes indeed The axe is a resin copy I made from the surface of a Stryker I have, the oher ones are scratchbuilt
  15. I think the traks are now quite conformed... They're still not glued... Will do at the end, once painted & weathered
  16. Good morning, mates! After finishing my AT-ST project I decided to keep myself out of my "confort zone" by starting, again, something completely new to me: TANKS! This is my return to the 1/72 scale after many years of doing nothing at all or, recently, 1/32 and 1/48 in other kind of subjects. Have in mind that this is my first ever AFV project (I used to build only planes and helos!) so any help will be apreciated The kit its quite nice and detail is not bad. The first I did is to shut all the BIG holes the vehicle has on its sides. They're intended for equipment pieces conectors but they're way too large for my taste. It looks like an allied tank killer found it out before I opened the box This thing has more wheels than my whole stack of undo aircraft. Well, almost So I decided to classify them to maintain a clue of where is going each one Decided to replace some of the surface detail with resin copies I did as they lack detail on their sides... Just if they were designed to see the vehicle only from top view... Moulds limits, I suppose. I also scratchbuilt some items than did not look very realistic... I bought a nice alu gun barrel Although later I decided to modify it because some incorrect "features" like that raised "ring", etc. Added raised numbers and a bit of texture to the mantlet with Gunze Surfacer As I dont llike a lot PE, I aded grilles from imaginative sources A couple of pics showing the rear of the tank additions and modifications I was a bit afraid of my recently purchased OKB Grigorov resin tracks... Remember I never built an AFV before But, finally, It wasn't a pain at all... Still needs to be conformed a little more but I think they look WAY better than the kit ones... And thats all by now. Hope you like and thanks for comment
