  1. Ah, just saw 'em after zooming in. If you want to add a further splash of color to that gearbox area, the swash plate was normally a grey color. Check out the HC2 in the walkrounds area - there's some good shots of the gearbox and rotor head at the end of the thread.
  2. that is looking very impressive Chris. The extinguisher is a nice touch. Don't forget the wiper motors on the floor.
  3. Wasn't there a helicopter around here once? Asking for a friend, you understand. 😄 (P.S. nice design/print work Tony)
  4. Or maybe a gallery for customers (not the designers) to show off their work?
  5. Thanks very much for the comments Mark. I really appreciate them. You're right though... packing those parts takes up a decent amount of time. I've seen some taking up to an hour, but much better than having to print, package, and send a replacement package.
  6. Lynx is looking top notch there Bill And the printed parts look excellent - can't wait to see you begin work on that.
  7. ooooh very nice, Chris The sheepskin looks fine - those covers always looked really tatty and dirty
  8. Chris if they were anything like the UK versions, the emergency pack - the big curvy part of the seat base - that was yellow, with a sheepskin bum comforter laid on top. That might be completely useless information for you, I'm not sure.
  9. Nice update and nice progress, Steve. "Ovals"? You've got a better memory than me. She does look nice with some clothes on now, even if it's only her underwear
  10. FYI there's only a few days left on Elegoo's Easter sale. I just picked up a Saturn with 25% off.
  11. Fantastic job Adrian. There's some really nice detailing going on in there.
  12. nice update Ian, and some fine detective work to boot! (see wot I did there?) okay, okay, coat time. I get it
  13. Wow! Impressive work sir. A working tail fold hinge in 1/48 is no mean feat. I doff my cap to you
  14. What is your reasoning for reducing the bottom layers exposure time?
  15. Did I say "interesting"? I meant to say scary! I think the worst is over... right?
  16. Agreed. You can actually see in the image above, on the print in the extreme left, that the first couple of layers stuck, or tried to stick to the build plate and the "perforated" base has delaminated further into the print as the suction became greater than the peeling forces.
  17. I just got some feedback from a customer who's working with the Fly kit. I must admit I had my reservations about sending out 1/32 parts when I didn't have a kit available for testing with but Kevin has done a great job, and given me permission to share his work. I think Kevin has done a fantastic job withe nose door bulkhead - I'd never have thought the printed parts would have been such a good fit (hence my previous caveats). I'm happy to be proved wrong. The upper bay turned out just as good It's great to see folks getting such fantastic results with these printed parts. It makes all those hours spent wrestling SolidWorks worthwhile.
  18. For those folks ordering the cockpit set, I've mentioned the servo valve a couple of times - I'm guessing a few of you may not know where it is located, and photos of it aren't that common, so... It's that valve looking thing on the left of the photo, sitting midway between the pedals. Here endeth this week's public service announcement. 😁
  19. Imo, those base supports are still way too big. There's no need to have the support surface as large as that. Even with all those holes you have there's still an incredible amount of suction being generated by that large of a flat surface
