WARNING Whilst reading WKENNERLEY's post on his compressor woe's http://www.britmodeller.com/forums/index.php?/topic/235006510-compressor-tank-blown-has-anyone-got-a-spare-please/ I have the same compressor and I thought that /i would drain off my tank to stop the same happeng to me and I place a cup under the drain plug (didnt know it had one until I looked and it still had a little pressure (so little it didnt read on the gauge) and about 1/4 pint of brown rusty water shot out and has gone all over the carpet. Pease drain the tank outside my carpet is now ruined I did not expect so much water Be aware when you do yours. I drain the little water trap on the front after every use but there is now brown gunge in the water trap as well. Be careful I would imagine this applies to all compressors that have a tank Maybe I should have known to drain the tank but I didnt and I bet others dont as well. Rodders

I decied to build this kit as a what if because the kit is for a prototype and to bring it up to latest standard would involve a lot of work. I did however cut out the window by the front door and even though you cannot see it the seats and consoles are in there. Painted using modelair paints and Kleer with decals cobbled togeather from kit decals, modeldecal and spares box decals. The actual painting was done with a cheap £6 chineese badger 150 copy it hasen't come out too bad. I am pleased with result and reckon that it could actually be done on the full size aircraft. There is presidence as there was a MK5 done in a simaliar scheme a few years ago. Normal 5ft viewing distance please. And with a proper HAS2 Thank you for looking Rodders

I have this kit and have built it up before. Unfortunatly the arms between the gotor head and the blade are not strong enought and over time they will sag which is a pitty because to mind it has to be the best value helicopter kit in any scale. I was toying with getting some brass or ali to use which would be solid and would not bend. Rodders -
I havent seen this version finished so I thought I would put mine up. I do like the yellow RAF rescue helicopters as the last picture wll testify. This is a superb kit and the interior detail is very good shame a lot cant seen if the doors are shut. I have however opened the aircraft up I did the kit version but have just notice that i missed off the directional spot at the rear of the fusalage. Too late now. I had a spare air filter from a revell kit so I used that instead and when the airfix decals went on and the microset had done its job I was rather pleased with the result. Otherwise all straight out of the box Very good value kit will be buying more. Normal rules view from 5ft Rodders ooops that blade nees bending down A theme is developing here :-)

I am in the process of building the mk3 and would like the flir but looking at it I am sure that it wouldn't be too much work to scratch one up. Pity that the only way to get one is the starter pack. Putting the 5 blade tail in tells us this is not the end of the releases with an early one or a foreign service one planned Rodders
