I am going to have a go with the revel one next time but there is quite a difference in the sizes between the 2 so it may not be an option.maybe eng's idea of a resin replacement maybe the way to go along with a replacement rear rotor hub with seprate spider. Rodders

The rotors do not have the down angle of the real thing I may try and alter them next to time I would have liked the front spotlight to either be clear or at least have a decal. I also didn't like the way the canopy py went together but that's because I am ham fisted. Overall I would give the kit 8 out of 10 silly thing don't spoil the kit but a little more attention would have helped Rodders

Finished I do like the kit it builds up quite well view from 5ft Rodders No I dont like the sand filter decals either

Its here and boy was it worth the wait. I will admit I have only seen the box and contents but already I can see me spending a mega load of money on these (do airfix supply in bulk) a couple of things that I like. seems a small thing but the winch has the cable seperate and he little light over the door. the tail rotor blades look to be to scale and the cockpit seats....... I bought up loads of modelart decals with the MK4 on them just the Xtradecal set to go. 2015 out with a bang thank you Airfix Of course this all could be subject to change when I try to put it togeather Rodders Ps sorry Colin for being so excited when you cant get yours in SA yet.

The cockpit is far too small the seat looks more like 1/72 than 1/48th Rodders

Mike Eacock (Skybirds 86) did a set of Hunter kits that allow you to build any of the hunter marks including the trainers. I saw some on Ebay the other day if they come up well worth getting. They are resin and castings hope that doesnt put you off. They dont however come with decals as Mike said there are plenty out there for nearly every aircraft. Rodders
