Here is the one I am going to build Unfortunatly I dont seem to have the etch that came with the conversion but not worried as I am no good with etch anyway but the other bit I am missing is the winch. All these were originally with the box but some how have been "lost" Anyway Colin feel free to comment on how it's going and we shall see what turns out. remembering I aint the world greatest modeller Rodders

I have never seen the filters in grey and airfix have printed them in grey that why I asked I see that you have used the scale aircraft modelling of the FAA for your set using the Mike keep drawings as your research I remember doing a lot of the research for them visiting the bases it's a small world if you look you will see me credited on the drawings Rodders

You could download the revell MK6 instructions from the net and see how they have done the AEW version Nice start btw Rodders

You can paint it any colour you want and somewhere in the world there would be the real thing Lovely build Rodders

What to build is a question I quite often ask and this time I cant find the answer? I have narrowed the list down to the kits below and would like insperation to do 1 kit for the group build to start with and maybe another if I get on well with the first build Trying not to copy anyone else (Oops I see a scout is being done :-( ) Let me know what you would build out of the following and why and I may use your idea to get my creative juices flowing Thanks Rodders

Are you going to have the rotors turning? IIRC there are cogs to make them mesh properly Rodders

My copy had loads of flash and cleaning up all the seam lines has so far put me off Looking forward to the build will you use the floats or just use the skids? Rodders

Did you ever finish this I came accross the topic and wondered how it finished Rodders

I must be doing something wrong as I put a C Scale one on ebay with the airfix scout kit starting £25 and never got a nibble didnt recieve one bid :-( Rodders

You also need to find a couple of "grab handle" airels for the rear Rodders

You dont need any weight in the front sit fine on its wheels without it The kit is a lovely build and i only had one problem in that the rotor arms that hold the blades are not strong enough to hold the main blades up because in real life the main blades do not droop. Will be watching this build avidly Rodders
