Are you going to add the window by the front stairs? I see it is on the box top and missed in the kit. I did and used a piece of acertate to fill the hole Rodders -
Masked and painted then found the rear skids were at the wrong angle and now I can't get them to now set in the right position. Will upload pictures later Rodders

Progressing cockpit done and buttoned up. Still looking for various bond decals I have ordered the model alliance set but not sure that will do the job. I think I will have a go at doing my own as I do have a laser printer Does anybody have any idea about the font used? And the real thing taken from Wikipeadia

Revell 1/72 kit not sure what scheme to do Kit has quite a bit of flash on it. The box has lots of different versions in the box including a full air ambulance interior but there are no instructions for this version. The Mk9 Whirlwind is back in the stash as I dont want to build it without a hoist so that is a problem for another day. anyway here are the box and spurs

I agree with Ian modelling in my life rakes many different turns. I have mainly kits of helicopters a few military aircraft but I also have some cars and 2 boats even got a dinosaur somewhere for the grandchildren who are into them. Yes we need other subjects other than the flying club.

Whirlwind 9 using the rotorcraft conversion
Rodders154 replied to Rodders154's topic in Helicopter Group Build III
I could do Just finishing off a hunter then full steam ahead with this one. I also have the Heritage conversion so may use the nose as the exhaust is already drilled on that one. Rodders
