  8. Hi Chris: Thank you very much for the other image to add also to my treasure!!! I'm not having the good look in having this with box and all the things as new but am grateful to at least have the kit I was looking around yesterday and found this: http://www.maam.org/p61/p61_rest.htm Really this people is making and inmense task to practically make this plane as new!!! Also look at these ones: http://www.maam.org/p61/images/IMG_6493.jpg http://www.maam.org/p61/P-61--3.jpg http://www.maam.org/p61/images/P-61%20Cowl%20Flap%20Ring.JPG http://www.maam.org/p61/images/MVC-003F%20(2).JPG In the above site there are some interesting pics to any P61 builder and Black Widow fans, and specially for us there are some three dealing with the engine cowlings front part, I found this part is like the Airfix kit and with a inside wall that could made me thinking how could approach this part..... Obviously, I'm not trying to make a super model but only as the Master Terry marriot sez one time in Scale Aircraft Modelling magazine: "Correct the obvious and camouflage the rest".....maybe later I'll buy the Dragon one to see what kind of beast this one is but with a lot of desire to build the old AMT/FROG first. Cheers, Luis Alfonso
  9. Hi Chris: I had seen this is the one you bought in Alberta Museum Gift Shop, BTW the parts spread will help me to check mineĀ“s completeness status, I will be posting advances about the prepararions and improvement parts I would need to make this one at least a good model. Thank you very much for your kind answer. BTW, are you planning to build this one??? I advice you to check Ebay USA and buy another one, sometimes anyone is selling this one with AMT/FROG packing . Cheers, Luis Alfonso
  10. Hi Guys: I was wondering what happened with this one. My interest sparks as I had the good fortune of getting two of them at Ebay together with an Airfix one. They come in plastic bags, without box, decals and bases but otherwise think both of them are complete and at really bargain price. I had compared the Frog with the Airfix kit and found nearly on a par with only a little difference with the engine cowlings front curvature, but the Squadron In Action made me think Frog was a little thin and pointed cowling. I am thinking in clone some Airfix parts to enhance the Frog kit, or maybe look around for a DML/Dragon one to check for better parts to enhance the others. I was thinking in begin one and anyone who have info or have the opportunity to do/share a review about this old, maybe outdated but always magnificent/nice kit is welcome. Cheers, Luis Alfonso
  11. Hi Chris: You did a wonderful build, simply wonderful. Cheers, Luis Alfonso

Hi there friends: I have joined your nice site recently trying to catch up again modelling and have found one of the Five of this I have in the same state as the one pictured here, and wanted to finish mine doing some work to enhance this nice old girl. Also was wondering what happened with this one. Cheers, Luis Alfonso
  15. Hi Wallynoz: Congratullations for your wonderful job in this one!! Even tough with all the battle she did, It really looks like you put your heart in this model, really a master model !! I have two "S" version and one of these in my stash, and already have bought another "J" and a very rare Otaki one in Ebay last month too. These old ladies in the Black Hasegawa/Minicraft box are unusual to be seen in these days, and looking patiently at yours, really give desires of make one too. I got news that there is another Hasegawa version with four blade props and some additions, maybe later I found one in Ebay. Cheers, Luis Alfonso
  16. Hi Vitor: I was thinking that for the very high price the kit would be more friendly. You did an outstanding job with this one, it looks like a hard journey but the results are great. Cheers, Luis Alfonso
  17. Hi Julien: Congratullations !!! its a wonderful model, I think even tough she have raised panel lines she looks very good for today standards and with this markings, more than resplendent. I also love to resurrect kits intended to go for spares recovery, and think that this type of builds in some cases give one a lot more of satisfactions than a new kit to build. Thank you very much for share it. Cheers, Luis Alfonso
  18. Hi Pierre: I have heard about this one but until today haven't had the pleassure to watch one. You did a commendable job with this one, it looks lika a enjoyable and relatively quick build for you. Congratulations Nice little kit and wonderful build. It looks like one of an experimental planes collection, it will shine between the Other Russian La's, Migs and the others, the American X planes, the British Fairey Delta and Whittle, the Germans Heinkel and Messerschmitts and, obviously, the French ones. Thank you very much for share this one with us Cheers from Guatemala, Luis Alfonso
