  1. Hi My Friend Jerzy!!! Congratulations for both builds. It's a real pleasure to admire another masterpiece from your nice workshop. I have watched both kits and remember when in 1981 a friend and modeling pal got a job opportunity abroad and and sold his collection of built and unbuilt models and got the chance to catch a pair of unbuilt old Revell Thunderbolt kits... those were the days when us modelers were happy and took what came into the kits boxes as "Faith Truth"... 😀 Well, sometime ago, got one old Revell Thunderbolt in the company of the old Spitfire, Corsair and Hurricane kits... Think that without a doubt watching here this oldies enhancing these pages bring us old modelers a big smile in our faces and hearts, is just like a huge happiness spark to get back in our minds moments to bring nostalgia. Thank you very much for sharing. Cheers!!! Luis Alfonso
  2. Hey Duggy: Have watched carefully your link and found the three first pics there are from an early F-10 variant as the aircraft depicted there have the Collect Exhaust System qith only one exhaust peculiar to the B-25B/C/and think early D variant. Was windering to know which unit they belong?...have read in the prints feet there are a "18 CMS 08/43 Esp. Santo" or something, so looking around have found the unit: http://www.warbirdsresourcegroup.org/URG/b25mitchell-WRG-0021503.html "Flying Personnel Of The 18Th Combat Mapping Squadron, Pose Beside The North American B-25 'Bebe Eyes' On Espiritu Santo, New Hebrides. August 1943. [North American F-10]." 18 Combat Mapping Squadron, 4th Reconaissance Group based at Pekoa Airfield, Espíritu Santo, New Hebrides. Thank you very much in advance.
  3. Hey Jerzy: YES, IT IS!!! That's the version I want to build. This is the only profile from this version I watch as many pics give only a guess. Think all the tail is yellow and the aircraft will look really pretty well adorned in these colors. Think will build two, as there was one sample that survived in USAF service until it was deactivated and was the one the USAF Museum got reworked by North American Aircraft to represent the one of the Doolittle Raiders B version...
  4. Hi Again My Friend Jerzy!! Fortunately yes, have had some issues in the last years that made me out of modeling Just doing a little bit here and there but a pic sparked my mind to research this bird, but was not so easy to dig into the info... Anyway, yesterday thought "Why not ask in BM??"... 😉 Will check for the Brazilian Thunderbolt soon and will look how to put here some of my findings to illustrate about that versión peculiarities. Keep on Jerzy!!!
  5. Hey Jerzy!!! You gave me another mod for a recon Mitchell variant to make... 😀 ...Thank ypu very much as it looks nice in these colours!!!
  6. Hi Duggy: Thank you very much. I didn't knew of this one, has a nice info and good ideas about the camera installation. Have read there were THREE nose cameras...other info I have read two and one under the rear of the cockpit and others have that two in the nose and one under the tail...Will check it slowly. Thank you very much for sharing!!!
  7. Hi My Dear Friend Jerzy-Wojtek from Poland!!! Thank you very much and Yes, I have seen this link and got deep in the water thanks to it surveying and depleting the web with pics. 9. Hi Friends and Modeling Pals: I am dealing with research info about how to make in 1/72 scale a model of this Mitchell Bomber Recon Variant, but the info is really scarce as many books have skept it, and in some cases is not clear at all. Have collected some pictures but no drawings. So, was wondering if there is any 1/72 kit conversion dealing with it or anyone who has made it before that could share the know how of it. Any info is welcome !!! Thank you very much in advance. Cheers!!! Luis Alfonso.

  12. I remember in 1981 my very first encounter with this beauty at my job... one of three Local Hobby Shops at Guatemala. This beauty came in a Blister package and cost Just US$1.25 but I distracted and a customer bought it and showed the beautiful kit he had bought to me... But fortunately there were another... and I took the kit and paid it to enjoy the build. Later in these modern times I bought the Heller boxing but the kit liked a lot to my son and I gave it to him. 17. Hi My Friend Roman!!! Congratulations for this new masterpiece you show us here!!!! I agree with you as this beauty is a nice kit and, I don't know the Tamiya but this one is in comparison ultra cheaper as the Tamiya value is three times of Revell's. I like this kit and was thinking in use it to make one of any south american Air Frorces as those were the very last countries flying this beast, or a French one used in Algeria war. For sure an impressive aircraft. Likes a huge lot your build, a very clean and feel is a vice free build, liked a huge lot the light weathering and wonderful finish you achieved here. Was wondering if are you making any plan for a Razorback to make this one a good company??? Thank you very much for sharing!!! Cheers, Luis Alfonso ,

  19. Nice this wonderful Iliad Decals Company from Canada has given attention to our Guatemalan Air Force bird, even though only one we still have in service. Seem they will sell plenty of this sheet here as we have a Revell Exclusive Representative Seller here. Thank you very much for the review!!!
