  1. Hi There, I love the Race Transporter, what a great piece of kit that is. Thanks for posting. Regards Reggie
  2. Hi Paul, I too managed to visit Sproat Lake, out of the fire season (February) many years ago, after being invited to take a proper view of the magnificent Mars. A fabulous day where we flew by a float Beaver, which was a great start to the day. On arrival we were greater by the chief engineer and basically left to our own devices! What a great day and fabulous memories. Regards Reggie
  3. Looking forward to following this build. I was lucky enough to take a flight out of Blackpool, Squires Gate Airport many years ago in a Twin Pin. It appeared to rotate within 100ft and landed even shorter. The pilot reckoned he could just about land in the width of the runway. Regards Reggie
  4. What a shame, he grabbed the Mk2 Escort by the scruff of it's neck and drove it to, and sometimes beyond, the limits. Always exciting to watch, and to hear the tortured engine note, as the car scrambled for grip. He'll be missed by many but remembered fondly by loads of us rally fans. Reggie
  5. Hi Tim, somewhere in a box of old photo's, I have one that I took of the rear of 'Black Beauty' as she went over the first crest. It was the last shot on the film, as she then crashed! Just my luck eh? I'll try to dig it out, when life allows. Regards Reggie
  6. Hi Tim, at 4mins 57secs, I was in the group stood to the left! Great days, awesome drivers and stunning cars. Thanks for bringing back loads of memories this morning. Regards Reggie
  7. Hi Vozdushniy, thanks for posting the link. With a bit of luck, my order may arrive today! Regards Reggie
  8. Hi Matt, thanks for taking the time to create this post. I'm sure many of the folks here will appreciate it and consider taking the same route. Regards Reggie
  9. Just thinking, Why don't you post an image of the set up, with a model in place, so the members can see what it takes to shoot such results? Regards Reggie
  10. Hi Guys n Gals, well my first decal order from Andy at Thunderbird Models has arrived and I must admit they look spot on. Looking forward to any future Beaver stuff that me may decide to offer. By the way, when was the last week that two Beaver items came up for sale? I've been spoilt by Andy's decals and a resin Turbo Beaver heading my way in the post from the Aviation Megastore. No doubt it'll be another few years before something else comes up. Regards Reggie
  11. Bloody Good Show, I'm ready to learn, be entertained and be sat in awe, all at the same time! Bring it on. Regards Reggie
  12. Hi Guys n Gals, so being 53 years old (but mentally about 9 and physically about 80) the Anderson's played a primary role in keeping me entertained for many a year. I know they say that nostalgia isn't what it used to be but even but seeing a still shot now, or hearing a few seconds of the theme tunes, takes me back by decades. It's not the technical effects that are important, it's just that the subject has to inspire the imagination of the viewer and if it does, then what more can you ask? So whether us daft old beggars like the new productions or not, isn't important but the effect on the current viewers is. So it's a massive good luck to all concerned from me and if it creates memories like I have, almost half a century later, then bravo. Regards Reggie (proud to remain a kid forever)
  13. Hi Homebee & Branky, thanks for the parts shots. Looks great. What's the decals like and how about the clear stuff? Regards Reggie
  14. Hi Homebee, mine's on order, after getting the message it was available yesterday. Thanks for the heads up though. By the time the delivery charges were added it came out as just a little shy of £50.00, which is the most I've ever paid for a kit. However, for a Beaver man like me, it just had to be ordered! Now all I need to do is to persuade Andy at Thunderbird Models to create some interesting decals for her, like the lovely Olivia! I'll post some sprue shots, when the kit arrives, unless some lucky person gets one to review, shoot and build. Regards Reggie
  15. Hi Graham, my all time favourite TV program. Thanks for posting. Regards Reggie
  16. Hi Guys and Gals, the title says it all really, other than confirming that they're of B C Air Lines and very smart they look. Mine are already on order. Enjoy. https://www.facebook.com/524139621028970/photos/a.663821680394096.1073741830.524139621028970/693286294114301/?type=1&theater Regards Reggie
  17. Hi Grant, the more I see of these models, the more I'm tempted! Regards Reggie
  18. Hi Wolfpack, I find these figures to be totally captivating and I do like your friends term of 'Pervy Models'! A great friend of mine's into the goth scene and I reckon a combination of these kits, with some gothic influence, would make for a fabulous subject matter! All I'd need to do it to get her to select a kit that would she would like to re-create in full scale, then do a side by side photo-shoot! Hmmm I may be onto something here! Anyway keep up the good work. Regards Reggie
  19. Hi Alan R, I'm looking forward to following this build with keen interest. Regards Reggie
  20. Hi Radleigh, the VC-10's a stunner. Regards Reggie
  21. Spot on, I can almost hear the whine of the Darts. Regards Reggie
  22. Hi Andy, that is a beautiful job and if that is your first diorama, well I can't wait to see the next one! One very personal note is that from an aesthetic point of view, I reckon if the base was just slightly bigger then the eye would be drawn even more to the subject but, as I say that's a very personal comment from a photographer that could only ever dream of reaching such standards. Regards Reggie
