Hi KPNuts, I'd be happy to be able to build the Snap-On tool chest alone, brilliant stuff.

Ducati 900 - Mike Hailwood Replica - 1/12 - Tamiya
The Cameraman replied to safak's topic in Work In Progress - Vehicles
Hi Safak, lovely bike and a smashing rider. Mum, Dad, my brother Dave and myself were at the Isle of Man for Mikes return. It was amazing and somewhere in the house we still have Mum's 'Mike the Bike been y hat! We lost Mum last year but whilst I was sorting some of her things out, I found an old race programme where my Dad actually raced against the man himself! At the last Manchester Classic bike show, we also met up with Mike the Bikes son, who was an absolute gentleman. Needless to say, I'll be watching this thread with much interest. -
Hi Ian, magnificent Beaver, greatest aircraft ever built, in my book.

A 1/80th scale Beaver! I've got one of these in my stash but won't start building it until I've fine tuned my skills somewhat. -

Fabulous, just seeing these images, has brought the theme music straight into my head. -
Hi Tony, I feel older still thinking about some aircraft that were future designs, when I was a kid, that have since been put into production, then into service, only to be retired years later! And I'm only 53 years old! Regards Reggie

AIRFIX DHC BEAVER & BEAGLE BASSET - KIT STARTER
The Cameraman replied to trickydicky210's topic in The Rumourmonger
Hi 172Flogger, I much prefer the Airfix Beaver to the HobbyCraft version. The Airfix one's either white, grey or even a green type plastic. The HobbyCraft one has that weird clear but brittle plastic for the fuselage, which has the windows moulded in so you just mask off the windows and paint the lot! -

Hi Martin, somewhere I've got an old photo of the Beaver production line and wonder if it would make for an interesting diorama? One day eh! -

Hi Martin, oh yes, how could I not place an order? I may order more as well. It would be great if they could add a bright, dazzling civilian set of decals, for the float plane version! -

Hi Bentwaters81tfw, I'm always on the hunt for Airfix Beavers, with what is likely to be the largest stash of them in captivity! One can never have enough. -

Hi There, just thinking 'outside of the box', one thing there's always on an airfield are pedal cycles, so why not consider the lovely photo-etched kits from DJ Parkins? http://www.djparkins.com/acatalog/1_72ndwwii.html Regards Reggie

Hi There, n sure, I'll have a look around but I also remember the old Hasegawa Pilot/Ground Crew set that comes with a Chevy Crew van. I built one years ago and it looked smart. http://www.hasegawausa.com/product-pages/hsgs1877.html Have you considered and die cast stuff, as there's usually loads of fire trucks etc in 1/72 scale? Regards Reggie

Hi There, don't forget the lovely 1/72 scale Chevy pick up truck from PJ Productions. http://www.pj-production.be/en/vehicles-1-72-/54-722004-chevrolet-m-1008-pick-up.html The station wagon is also availiable, which were everywhere on US bases in the 1980's/90's. http://www.pj-production.be/en/vehicles-1-72-/55-722005-chevrolet-m-1009-utility.html I bought a couple and they're beautiful kits. I also bought a couple of VW T3 Transporters, from the same supplier, as they were most popular and a very common sight on US/European bases. http://www.pj-production.be/en/vehicles-1-72-/53-722003-vw-t3-transporter.html If you're looking for older vehicles then F4 models do a stonking 1950's pickup truck, which wouldn't look out of place, as it was used by many branches of the US forces. http://f4models.blogspot.co.uk/2013/11/usaf-us-navy-1950s-utility-pickup-truck.html Regards Reggie

Hi There, were you inspired by that amazing Goggomobil, that was fitted with a 9 cylinder radial engine? If you weren't, then just do a google search over Goggo radial engine and you'll be amazed and what was built by the brilliant, but mad Germans. Regards Reggie

Would like to know if this, or similar is available

Hi There, LN Decals do a nice Cessna 180, OK it's totally different than the 182 but I thought I'd mention it here, being a rare option for GA aircraft. http://lndecals.com/images/LN-kits/Full/ln72-k03.jpg Regards Reggie -
