  1. Hi Jurgen, looking forward to the next installment. Keep up the great work. Regards Reggie
  2. Hi Guys n Gals, last Sunday I went to a local toy fair and found a Corgi 'Italian Job' set of three Mini's for sale, so I couldn't resist buying them. Looking at them, the 4 spot light sets etc really show just how rubbish Corgi were at making a proper scale model but what can you do eh, at least they fitted with Minilite wheels! Now, at the same event I saw a 1/24 Tamiya Morris Mini Cooper Racing kit for sale and I had a quick look, thinking that the box art showed the car as running on Minilites, but the results were that the box didn't include such wheels! The chap was asking £18.00 for the kit, so I popped outside, checked on the internet and found they were only £14.99 at Hobbycraft! Needless to say I spoke to the seller and, when he wouldn't lower the price, I left. So more internet searched resulted in a box shot of the pending Revell Monte Carlo Rally Cooper, which looks to be perfect for my needs, apart from the wheels. Take a look at; http://www.plastik-modellbau.org/blog/revell-neuheiten-2014/2014/ and scroll down to the car section. So does anyone know when this kit will be expected in the UK (shows as March for Germany)? Also does anyone know of a supplier of 1/24 scale, Minilites and tyres that I could purchase to replace the kit fitment? By the way, at the same event I saw an Italian Job coach and three Mini set for sale but was gobsmacked when I asked the price and was told it was reduced down to £160.00!!! I did an Ebay search and found they were asking £250 + for this set! Kind regards and Happy New Year. Reggie
  3. Hi Steve, now I've watched the film many, many times and I saw something that I'd previously missed! When Charley's introducing all of the team, around the large table the professor's got a cig in his mouth, one of the chaps moves towards him with a cig lighter and at that moment the prof bites into the cig, to show its a chocolate one! Such a quick and simple joke that I'd never spotted before! Regards Reggie
  4. Hi Guys n Gals, so purely with the intent of gathering more research, I've just turned the telly over to Channel 4, so I can watch The Italian Job (yet again)! I dread to think of the number of times I've watched it at the cinema, on the telly and on DVD, I'm a sad case that's for sure! Regards Reggie
  5. Hi There, I watched the film over the holidays and I'm absolutely convinced the image os from the film. Regards Reggie
  6. Really fine work there, she looks better than the 1/1 scale version! Regards Reggie
  7. Hi Triumph, that first shot is an absolute corker! Regards Reggie
  8. Hi Oliver, you're not saying that I've planted a seed there are you? If your next build was a float plane, I'd be ecstatic! Regards Reggie
  9. Now I really would like to see your skills performed on this subject. Plenty of detail to go at, that's for sure. But what I'd really like to see would be what you could do with a DHC-2 Beaver, on floats. My all time fave aircraft that I've been lucky enough to throw loads of money at to fly, which is why I'm now skint! However, whatever subject you choose, I will guarantee to follow your project as your work is beyond my comprehension. Regards Reggie
  10. That looks fast even when it's stopped! Regards Reggie
  11. Hi Homebee, that's way more like it. Over in Oshkosh, the V tail iBonanza's known as the 'Fork Tailed Doctor Killer'! A real odd version was used by the USAF as a drone to gather intel. Regards Reggie
  12. Hi There, it's so nice to see more GA aircraft kits being made available but, to me, a Bonanza should have a V tail! I had a look at their other 1/48th scale GA kits and, despite me being a float plane man through and through (with hours on Cessna 172's and my beloved Beaver on floats) I jjust think the Cherokee on floats just doesn't look right. I wonder if their PA28 comes with wheels as well? Regards Reggie
  13. Hi There what a stunning finish you've managed to obtain. Fantastic work. Regards Reggie
  14. Great to see something new General Aviation wise on the market. Regards Reggie
  15. Hi DL, I hope the PM image was of use? She's a fine looking rig, that's for sure. Regards Reggie
  16. Hi Griffsrw, thanks for the undate. I must admit the colour looks great. Regards Reggie
  17. Hi Mate, I wish you'd have asked last weekend, as I saw one of them in Preston but only got a frontal shot. I have a system problem at the moment in that I can't copy and paste anything but if you PM me your email address, I'll be able to send the shot to you and maybe you could post it here? Regards Reggie
  18. Hi Griffsrw, can I ask who you sourced the resin wheels from, as they look superb? Regards Reggie
  19. Hi Guys n Gals, according to todays issue of Motor cycle News, Liberta Motorcycles have launched a 1/1 scale kit called the T1-50. They say it has 104 components and results in an 'old-skool chopper' with a rigid frame & springer forks. The kits start at £4,999. If you fancy one, go to, www.liberta-motorcycles.com So I'm guessing this is a two version of something like a Caterham kit car! Regards Reggie
  20. Hi Steve, there'll be plenty of time for photo's, once everything has been ordered and delivered. It'll be a mega slow journey but one that I'm keen to start, so I can ask the team just how to do just about everything! The first thing I need to fix is my Copy and Paste functions, so I can use Photobucket again. TTFN Reggie
  21. Hi Gys n Gals, just to let you know, the drivers I ordered from Hong Kong have arrived today! That's a quicker service than most UK suppliers! Regards Reggie
