  1. So are we looking at £250 for kit plus £50 if you want the detail set (which should be in there anyway) £300 is out of my league in the current climate and a lot of others I'd say, especially as Meng's new Mclaren MP4/4 is listed at £150 It was shown on a lot of sites as £199, but those have now changed it to £250 (average)
  2. I don't think that applies since we left the EU, their pretty hot now with anything coming from abroad and into the UK, HMRC
  3. To be honest at £250 it shouldn't need AM
  4. Will have to be good at £250 for me EU average, yet HLJ has it at £152 but with custom/vat/postage it will come in the same so no point.
  5. Don't think their there to look pretty 😉😁

    VMS Varnish

We all have are own way, but I never flood it, wet yes but not as they show you on VMS 😄
  7. Italeri and Tamiya have both released kits of each others in the past I believe
  8. Very nice, the names suits it as it looks like it's seen some action but not overdone
  9. Excellent Phantom, those Hasegawa kits really stand up well when built, especially to this standard

    VMS Varnish

Sorry but watching their video and I just can't bring myself to spray like that, they are spraying on one flat surface with no right angels or curves, try that in the real world and I can see a whole lot of pain ahead
  11. Excellent build and finish, quite like it with the additional lights on as you've made such a fine job of them
  12. Did you contact them as a pre -order as it's not even on their site, unless I'm looking at a different MJR MJR Racing Models & Hobbies | Plastic Model Kits (mjrmodelsandhobbies.co.uk)
  13. Seems to be set at that price average from most UK suppliers, although Spotmodel have it at 260 euros for some reason at the moment
  14. Looking around £150, tempted but would like to see the plastic first, wasn't too impressed with their GT40 kit accuracy wise with the front wings
  15. Very nice, a few 1/72 figures on the deck would help to show how big the turrets were
  16. The Enthusiast Fujimi kits are the ones that fetch mega money, the curb side ones can still fetch good money as it was rare, not so rare now Fujimi is re releasing it though 😁
  17. Mixing is the main problem with and epoxy putty, equal amounts roll it into a sausage shape, fold over and repeat repeat repeat repeat and so on 😉 😁
  18. Beautiful Bugatti Richard Next time use bleach to remove the chrome it will dissolve it a lot quicker, as in minutes
  19. Fantastic dioramas, feel for the Lysander crew, don't think they'll be going back to Blighty only to a Stalag
  20. Hart breaking when you get the other finishes perfect and the final one lets you down. Ammo seems to be releasing so much stuff lately you have to wonder if they ever test it first, it's mind boggling on their site, their even selling thinned down paint in bottles and calling it shaders, you can do that yourself with any paint 😀
  21. Never had a problem using lacquer clears over any from Tamiya/Gunze/AK or that matter any Acrylic paint. Just light coats at first before a final wet coat
  22. Fantastic build and finish, just ordered the other Hobby2000 P-40N release as I've been after an N for a while. While the kit does come with drawbacks regarding the fuselage I found joining the tails to the front before joining the fuselage halves together helps
  23. ops TK501 that's one you wont repeat I bet
