  1. Another great build Russ, Just a quick question did you use Hasegawa's decals, only asking as I've had a problem with their decals on a 1/48 Aichi Val I'm doing, never had a problem before using their decals, but the kits been in the stash a few years so that may have been the reason

Edit: always use the hot water method and they just would not comply even with decal solutions

  2. Don't know if Jadlam have got their pre-order price wrong with the Thunder Model 35306 LRDG CMP F30 Truck W/37mm MK.I Bofors Gun 1:35 Model Kit at £27.95 with delivery, but thought I'd take a punt at it

  3. I'm pretty sure they will be, AS is the old style Tamiya paints TS is the newer type. Both are Synthetic Lacquers, bit like Tamiya XF/X paints and their newer LP paints

Although I think the LP have finer metal flakes compared to the X metallics. Both types in the jars can be thinned with MLT or Tamiya's own lacquer thinner.

  4. I have the above kit and would like to paint in Volcano Orange, anyone know if Tamiya/Gunze do a matching or close colour.

I see the kit instructions say a mix of GX109 70% and I take it H9 30% wanted to avoid mixing my own

    Thanks

Usual way is to asset strip not buy & sell shares quickly.

With a share holding of around 10% they're probably not where they need to be in terms of taking control but they're there to have a look at the finances and to have a chance of pouncing if/when the oportunity arises.

Watch for further share acquisitions or disposal.

Musk has done this for a while, buys a load of shares in companies and makes it public, people rush and follow, the share price jumps up,  then he dumps his holding. Speculate to accumulate

'Manuals' (whatever) and laminated card checklists are not the same thing. A QRH weighs a lot more than a one-card checklist, as does an iPad. Paper QRH is stowed in a side pocket on the centre pedestal. iPad usually is on a bracket outboard of the pilot seats. Normal checklist is usually slid into a document holder on the glareshield or slid down the outboard side of the glareshield. So when the door went pop, so did the checklists.

How did to checklists in the cockpit get sucked out of a door/window in the cabin, or was the cockpit door opened during this emergency

The albums are there still - it's adding to them that I find more complicated than it used to be. Or have you sussed that?

As others have said they've buggered up what was a very simple way of doing things before

  8. I have a large bottle of their satin and find it seems to take ages to loose it's tacky feel, although it doesn't mark when touched it feels tacky.

Mind you I have some Winsor and Newton Galeria and that seems to do the same thing
