Piero
I'm sure yours will blow mine out of the water looking at the efforts your putting in.
Without your excellent resin sets this wouldn't have been possible so a massive thank you to you!!
I'm working on scratch building a decent loadout (CRV-7 pods, Paveway IV's and a DJRP pod) for this so will post some more pics when their done.
Thanks for the kind comments everyone. As icing on the cake, I passed Army Selection today with an A grade. Going in as an Aircraft Technician so my next projects will be 1:1 Lynx's and Apaches!!!!
Hello,
Just thought I'd share a little project I've been doing for a SIG on another forum.
Scratch built LERX and FOD covers, Aires cockpit and wheel wells, Aires MB Mk10 seat (scratch converted to Mk12A), Piero's correction set and resin nose, SAC metal undercarriage and Model Alliance decals.
This is my first 1/32 scale model, and first proper use of resin parts. The learning curve has been steep.
Huge thanks to Piero for his resin set and replacement nose.
Thanks for looking
Rich
Great update Piero!! Mine's in the painting stage at the mo and I'm regretting rushing ahead after seeing this and some of the updates that I've missed such as the RWR on the tail and repositioning the lumps and bumps on the wings...............
Your resin replacement nose fit like a dream with just a tiny bit of filler to sort the join out. A big thank you Piero.
Keep up the good work!!
Aires 1/32 Martin Baker MB10A (Tornado seat) for me.
Piero I'll post the build as soon the GB finishes on the other forum. Your Resin set hasn't been applied yet and I'm waiting for christmas day to come round to get my cockpit and wheel bays (missus won't let me at 'em til then!). By the way what's the best way of fitting the outrigger tops? They seem a tad wide for the bays??
Amazing work Piero.....as ever. With your build being the inspiration, here's my attempt at the MB Mk12H seat.
I missed the cover on the top as my references weren't that good but most of it's there.
Will post rest of the build up soon.
Stunning build Piero. Love the camo scheme! I'm gonna be doing a GR9 in similar colours for a GB over on Flory Models this month. With regards to that, how's the resin sets coming on?
