  1. I saw part 1 made up today and it is plywood not balsa it looks fantastic and you get aluminium sheet to cover it all with later. I can't afford £600.00 though but the guy who showed me today can so I will watch it grow if I am still alive. Should be done in time for the Olympics maybe. Ted
  2. Fantastic Jen the rigging looks perfect. Ted
  3. If you want any help with the build there are a couple of pages on my site you might like http://tedtaylor.hobbyvista.com/61-amt-kc-135a/page-61.html http://tedtaylor.hobbyvista.com/60-kc-135-...es/page-60.html http://tedtaylor.hobbyvista.com/74-ec-135n/page-74.html good luck Ted
  4. Thank you Trusky, nice of you to say so but there are others on here who make my models look a bit plain I am afraid but I keep trying................ Ted
  5. Hi Adrian, it will be in SAMI some time soon I hope. As for how I did it there isn't much detail, I just added the nose plug and did a lit of masking. Ted
  6. Hi Colin, it is nice to know that someone enjoyed my labours all that time ago, thank you for looking and I will be at Brampton but Avon is a little too far for me these days. BTW I still have all those models you saw at the M.E. show but the loft is getting a little full up now, I have to park some of them at Hannants London shop these days. Ted
  7. Tony you have done so well there, looks pretty good to me mate Ted
  8. Colin, A new nose and two fuel tanks . click on Ali's site to see what you get Ted
  9. Hi Rich, No They are both the same, all I did was to fill the grooves in the rudders, it is probably the paint scheme that gives an optical illusion. Ted
  10. The 57G is a nice kit but the LLTV pod is the wrong shape but be aware someone is doing something for it I believe. It really isn't that shiny now but I had a bright light above it when I took the pic. as I have said many times before I am not good at weathering so I leave them clean. the PR9 is having decals put on at the present time, grey green scheme this time, done two in hemp already Ted
  11. Yes they will be there and did you notice I had unmasked the canopy too, that was the wrong pic I put up as it wasn't quite finished at that time but hey................... Ted
  12. Thanks Rich, was your fault though you supplied the camera
  13. Thanks for your comments guys, glad you liked it. I always wanted to do a raspberry ripple job and this was my first real chance apart from my little hunter. I did rush this a little so it is not perfect by any means as I fitted it in between my two other Canberras the B-57G and the PR-9 which are nearly finished Cheers Ted
  14. yes I have more but they are for the Mag sorry mate
  15. A very easy conversion, good resin parts and nice decals Ted
  16. Neil I made a type error there It was meant to be B57-G not 47-G. I have looked around and can't see any one making one. Ted
  17. Hi Neil did you ever do nose pod for the B47-G in 1/48th? great models by the way. Ted
  18. Here is one I made earlier, the airfix one in 1/48 OOB but I have three more almost finished this is Aeroclub. this is CA model this has Alley cat mods Ted.
  19. How about a correct pod for the underside of the nose on Airfix B57 G in 1/48th and a new nose for a t-17 also 1/48th Ted
  20. I have two reviews up if you want to have a look http://tedtaylor.hobbyvista.com/61-amt-kc-135a/page-61.html http://tedtaylor.hobbyvista.com/74-ec-135n/page-74.html Ted
  21. Hi Jen , never seen or heard of it myself in all my years of modelling. BTW did you get the "P" sheet. Ted
  22. All compressors get hot even the fridge motor type that Revell used to do, that is why they had a heat shield around them. and in the summer it just gets a little worse. I think your non return valve might just be a bit sticky. Ted
  23. Never seen that Kirk but when I a small amount of Alclad I secure the bottle on my bench with BluTack undo the lid and dip the airbrush paint tube into the liquid and press the trigger, enough gets sucked up to cover a fair sized area. If I want a large area then I tip it into a jar and use normaly. BTW I always leave the Polyclens jar on the brush when I hang it up. Ted
  24. First problem, thinners is for thinning only you need to use a brush cleaner such as Polyclens, always keep a small jar of it handy, dip a big brush in it and wash the cup out then spray it through it should now be clean. If you are getting paint on threads or other bits then you are doing something wrong which you need to look at yourself as paint should only be in the cup and on the needle. Ted
