  1. Past hour
  2. Hi Echen, sorry for the delay in responding.......and as regards the Panzer IV, nah mate, still in the unpainted condition above. Unfortunately my other half signed me up... (volunteered me that is....🙄 ) to help renovate a house and then build a bathroom in another property, so been snowed under since August last year. I'm going to be finished on this last project by the end of this month, painting etc. I'm then off until next year.....theres a lot of unfinished armour projects started last year that need finishing. But knowing me, I'll end up starting some new builds and never get to them.....let's hope not. All the best
  3. Hello Everyone, Here are my two Tamiya motorcycles in 1/12 scale, a Kawasaki Ninja ZX-14R and a Suzuki GSX1300R Hayabusa (1st Generation). As I work with motorcycles during my day job, I really enjoyed building these two. The level of detail on these is amazing. Here are the photos. ZX-14R GSX1300R Hayabusa I would love to build some more Tamiya motorcycles if I get the chance to get my hands on them. All the best, Rick
  4. Good evening Today I glued the wings and horizontal stabilizers on the fuselage Best regards Patrice
  5. Thanks Adrian, it is the first Franken Spit that I have tried to make, and it now has paint on it!
  6. Very nice. I've built 2 Tamiya bikes myself and I'm still shocked at how detailed they are.
  7. Thanks Jeff, That was a long time ago I built this one, I would love to do another Titanic and see how much better I could make her now. I promise I will be getting back to the Type 45 destroyer build soon. Thanks Bjorn, I loved building this kit years ago and she has been in pride of place in my display cabinet since I got hold of it.
  8. Thanks Keith, I always loved seeing 558 at airshows. I've got a fair number of pictures of her on my facebook (but unfortunately I lost the full resolution copies of them when my backup drive packed up). I really want to go up to the airport she's at and get up close and personal Cheers, Rick
  9. You made a nice return to modelling with it. And no, I've never done an RMS Titanic either. I have the same kit on my building board but I have been cutting in it to build a 1/600 RMA Aquitania. I also have a 1/800 scale Titanic who got the same faith, Tha saw has been working on it to be able to build a MS Kungsholm in 1/600. I do have an unhurt 1/600 Titanic from Academy in the stash though.
  10. Hello Everyone, This is another of my previous builds. This one was part of the F-14 Tomcat II Group Build in 2014 on this very forum. This is a Revell 1/144 F-14A Tomcat in VF142 Ghostriders from CVW-6 aboard USS America in 1976 decal scheme. The F-14 has been one of my favourite planes since I saw Top Gun and is one of the planes I always wished I had seen at an airshow. Here are the photos. I really want to build the larger F-14 Tomcat that has been released by Revell after Top Gun Maverick came out. I'm hoping to get the kit set with the F-18 Hornet as well this year. All the best, Rick
  11. Hello Everyone, This is another of my previous builds. This one was part of the F-14 Tomcat II Group Build in 2014 on this very forum. This is a Revell 1/144 F-14A Black Tomcat in Vandy One decal scheme. The F-14 has been one of my favourite planes since I saw Top Gun and is one of the planes I always wished I had seen at an airshow. Here are the photos. All the best, Rick
  12. Outstanding work Stix! I really like the effects behind the rockets... adds realism to the whole scene. Keith 😁
  13. More than seven years in the making!!! It seems time is not a vital parameter for SH. Hope to live long enough to grab one, otherwise I will tell my family to put one sample in my coffin! 😂
  14. Nice work, especially by the wife! It looks fantastic! 👌 Looks great and 558 is an iconic aircraft that lived not far from me at Bruntingthorpe for a while. Keith 😁
  15. I agree with Stef here .... you've had a really good result with the pigments. They are tricky and take getting used to, but do get easier. I like the base .... it really sets the Marder off 👌 Keith 😁
  16. Thanks. You are very welcome. Thanks very much.
  17. I've had this photo on my 'puter for years. I don't remember where I got it. Chris
  18. The Baslers have a escape hatch and mostly a glass/acrylic part replacing the original , I don’t if they are interchangeable with the old ones ! All you need to know 🔽 https://www.baslerturbo.com/bt-67-worldwide.html cheers, Jan
  19. Agreed, if I'm going to go into the echo chamber, I at least want people I agree with!
  20. I think that I may have eventually found an actual transporter that is similar to the dinky model. cheers, Mike
  21. Happy birthday 🎂🎂🎂
  22. Hello Velobella … from the city of Chicago USA. I’m mostly a military aircraft builder but do other types for a change. Your builds look good, just remember with weathering less is more. Dennis
  23. Nice work on this! Your yellow paint has excellent coverage to enable you to paint the tips on black blades! Purple indeed! I don't suppose this will be another instance of 'The Dress'
