Well got mine started
I'll have some piccies Later
seanrgb
Well I was up late last night and early this morning
So I have decided to use a PE Colour set on this one
the pit was fairly easy to do ( Nicked the wifes Jam Jar Glasses)
just a case of Revell No 9 and Glue to stick on the PE
But to be honest the kit did include decals for this , but for the price the PEset was worth the hassle
Also in the Kit it included seat belts , what a pain in the Arse these were to put on
But there again worth the effort
But all that hard work only to discover you don't see that much of it now its inside the fuselage

Anyway Enough chit chat heres some pictures

Grant
WoW! Cockpit done already!

That coloured PE is neat stuff. You'll just have to have the canopy open to show it off.

cheers

Grant

Well Some progress
Its been a while but here goes
I sprayed the whole plane with Tammy Flat Aluminium
then left it for about 6 days
then yesterday i sprayed the top half with Humbrol enamels Dark sea grey and Dark green
left it to dry for a few hours , then brushed on a couple of coats of Johnsons Klear

Today I started some decalling and decided to go with the 74sqd markings
heres my progress still got loads to do

Cheers Guys
None of you commented on the Fine job I did on the canopy rofl.gifrofl.gif
I'm Just been pinting it by brush
With those I'm not too bothered about overpainting , because i clean it up with a toothpick
plus i'm pretty crap at masking rofl.gif

I decided on 74Sqd because of the F4J(UK) I did a few years back
hopefully i'll have more progress soon
Mike
OK Sean... you did a Fine job on the canopy... thumbsup.gif

Hi Sean,

Your Hunter has come together very well, and I hope that you've been able to finish it and will soon display the results. Great cockpit too, by the way. It sounds like you've really enjoyed building the Hunter, which is the whole point! Any chance you could post a pic or two with the F-4J when you're finished?

Cheers,

Andrew.
