As a matter of interest and bcause I am feeling too idle to look is there a decent kit of the Porsche 917???

I think vince has a few Fujimi 917s in stock -

From what I've read the Fujimi kits are regarded as very good and chock full of detail, I might be wrong but I believe it models the full engine too.

It was a hard choice for me between this and the 956/962

Thank you John - ordered one! Founds some pictures too! Watched these at Le Mans - superb sight!! Seem to remember Seiffert Rindt Icxks et al. There when Seiffert twas killed. Yuk!

Nice choice, one of the classic Porsche shapes and should make a nice model.

Kit has arrived from Vince (some service huh??) - looks rather good - will try and post some pictures soon - I assume it is OK to open the box at this stage?
