Airfix say the main fuselage colour is Humbrol 156 for 54 squadron, i can't get a Tamiya acrylic match.
does anyone know or shall i guess it as i have some that are close including Revell 374 acrylic.

The Model Alliance Jaguar decal instructions quote Humbrol 156, Xtracolor X036 or Xtracrylix XA1036 as being suitable for Dark Camo Grey. They don't mention a Tamiya equivalent so there probably isn't a direct match. The Xtracrylix should match the bill if you like acrylics. Hope that's of some use.

mmm.......... The MA sheet says the main body colour on the grey Jags is Dark Camo Grey FS36237 (BS381C-629) with Dark Sea Grey FS36237 (BS381C-638) on the upper surfaces. Think we need one of our resident Jag experts on this one.

I have XF-53 and looked at it, but to me it looks too dark, in photo's the sepecat jaguar looks a much lighter grey.
i just wondered what people use, i've never used or seen xtracrylix, revell 374 seems a good match but......i have used this colour on a Typhoon and lower fuselage on Tornado GR4 and somehow looks right, it could be a standard RAF colour that is matched here.

The BS colours are correct - the FS are only approximations
