Hi all
As the title says, who would be interested in a Star Wars GB?
I don't know if there has been one in the past or not but there must be enough people out there that would be up for it?
The following people are interested so far:
Me (host)
Obi-Jiff Kenobi (co-host)
Madmonk
Smiffy
Pilgrim UK
It's AllGoneHoriblyWrong
Kev1n
Sunshine coast
cjhm
Dermo245
Rabspat

There's already a Science Fiction and Superheroes GB on the way to start in the Autumn. I'm happy for a sub-GB to dovetail within that GB but it wouldn't be strictly necessary.

A star wars build would be good. Im up for it but sci-fi modellers are a rarity round here.

Yeah, I agree with the above.
Just join Sci-Fi GB.

Im sorry but why? Having a sci-fi build is good but quashing all other types of sci-fi builds just because it comes under the same banner seems a bit odd to me.

There is a Science Fiction and Superheroes GB coming up soon to be taken advantage of. (Thanks Smiffy).
I'm happy to entertain, within that, a Star Wars sub-GB. Star Trek, Battlestar, Thunderbirds, etc, etc, etc sub-GB. But it's all under the same umbrella. The scope for GB's is always congested and there is a dedicated Science Fiction GB already planned in. Why not just take advantage of it?

Hi Guys,
As has been mentioned we do have the SciFi GB coming up this year. Any SW GB would not be until mid way into 2013 so that would be a two year wait. If you can get the support and can wait till then, go for it. you can always build in the SciFi GB as well.

Well, it's nothing to do with quashing all other types, but simply because the Sc-Fi one is coming up soon and like Mish said, if you want a SW specific one, then you're going to be waiting two years to fit it in the calender, that's all.
That being said, if you want to organise a Star Wars GB for then, I'm sure I can find plenty of things to enter.

More importantly, i'm glad to see there is interest in a Star Wars GB, even though it will be in a couple of years.
When i get a bit more time, i'll get a list of interested parties together

Come on guys, we need at least 15 bods to make this one a goer. There are plenty of kits out there too, from all the films, and even the TV shows. I have a list somewhere of all the plastic ones I know of, I'll try and dig it out and post it on here. Might give some of us a few ideas.

Probably Erwin but this one won't be held until 2013.
Has anyone had a count up of interested members? Thirty are needed to get this one to the launch pad.
