Whilst browsing the group build threads I've come across a few areas in which false information has arose about certain things first was the cockpit. The colour of the cockpit in RAF Jags were matt black and satin black on the kick pannels, this was evident on all marks Gr1 Gr1a Gr1b Gr3 GR3a T2 and T4 from my knowledge and many of my work mates ex Jaguar all say the same they have never seen a grey cockpit, some of which have 15years plus on jaguar, also from the same people I asked few came back and said the only Jaguar they have seen with a grey cockpit was from a longtime ago in an OMANI Jaguar,
The black is to aid the Night Vision properties of the cockpit
