OK well this is it then,

have made my decision on my build and it will be a 54sqn in winter distemer. I will be using the Airfix GR.1 with all of Neils beautiful bits, Neomega pit, Eduard PE and Model Alliance decals. No piccies yet because I am waiting on the Jag book from Hannants that all of you told me to get. This kit will end up with a host of new goodies on it as well.

BTW, anyone have a good idea of a load out for a Jag during a winter excersise?? Most likely inert GBUs I would guess. aybe Winders on top of the wings?? Thought?? Ideas? Photos??

Search airliners.net Mike. 54 squadron were the last Jaguar unit to embark on winter exercises in Norway back in 2005. There are loads of pics on there.

I can't find many 54Sqn Jags in the arctic sheme, only two aircraft XX725 and XX720. There's afew pics of them though.

Oooh! Looking forward to seeing how you cope with the distemper (isn't that what dogs get? ).

ok - then go to UKAR.co.uk and do a Jaguar search in the Modern military photography section - you will need to go back to March 2005 I think it was.
