Did an off road driving course in one of those, had to tow a colleague out of a deep puddle (small lake?) after he managed to get bogged down going through it. He climbed out of the window and shimmed down over the cab to attach the towing hawser to the tow hitch all the while clinging on like a demented monkey, watched him shim back around to the drivers window only to completely arse it up swinging into the window an ending up falling backwards and headfirst into the puddle - laughed my socks off!
Didn't really like driving these that much - preferred the DAF's, not so much effort required and they weren't all knackered like the Bedfords.
Enjoy it when you get it!

Hi Wez
My first drive with the Bedford was nearly my first accident too !!! Learned to drive on a Volvo FL 6 if I remember right from the civie training instruction school. Passed the HGV first time, and first weekend exercise out with the Bedfords driving out of Perth.
Racing towards the Broxden Roundabout is not a good time to find out that their is a great distinction between modern powered stearing trucks and old beat up Bedford MK. I did wonder why the steering wheel was a good bit bigger than the training vehicle.
Duuuuuuuuuhhhhhhhhhhhh ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, Nearly took out the chevron marker bourds on the inside of the round about.
Steep learning curve quickly learned.
DAF 4x6 DROPS were cool to drive especially with the dolly axle trailer.
I wonder what KFS will supply for the canvas load cover and hoops??
