Ok here is a surprise this morning on Aeroscale. Another quarter scale Fw-189, that sounds to be released at the Tokyo Hobby Show in a few weeks.

So we'll see two new models of the subject in 2010/11 with the ICM release

A first release from Great Wall Hobby, I am used to seeing them in armor kits - usally of German subjects lately. Lion Roar is the resin side of the company

Maybe not a huge release, but a first release on a new front in the assault on our bank balances from Our Benevolent Chinese Hobby Overlords.

The FW-189 has not shown up on the Lion Raor website yet - but I'll post pics when available. Until then take a look at Aeroscale.com

No idea on the price or when it will show up at our favorite shops

I'll be badgering GWH's UK importers airbrushes.com for a review sample as soon as that hits these shores. yahoo.gif I remember building an Airfix kit of this as a kid, and I suspect I left all the canopy glazing clear - there was quite a lot of it, afterall! wacko.gif

Didnt someone else do one in 1:40 but it was the unarmed version or something?

MPM did both the A and the B (the staff transport version) in 1/48. They fetch truly stupid money now - worth around £50 - so it will be interesting to see what Great Wall are planning to charge.

Mike, I'm now all but semi-professional as a reviewer, and have the MPM one already, so I could do a comparative review for you if you like?
