OK fellas


First off who is doing what for their Jag markings? I want to be differnt than everyone else!! Here are my choices straight from the decal stash:


Gulf War:GR.1s Fat Slag, Johnny Fart Pants, Buster Gonads or Diplomatic service (all from MA 48-117)

other Options:

GR.3A XZ400 54 Squadron from 2004 Dark Sea Grey/Camo Grey

GR.1 XZ398 41 Sqn commemorative scheme Wraparound green/grey with red spine and tail

GR3A XX720 GB 54 Sqn Scandanavian excersise in winter distemper scheme Light grey/Dark Grey

GR1 Nigerian Air Force

either of these Mike - A nice dirty chipped GR1 could look very nice

Either of these two Mike, the Nigerian bird is going to be unusual and XZ398 has a nice mix of high colour and camoflage.

If you do choose XX720 I have some photos off the 'net showing her in the distemper scheme that my be usefull for weathering effects. (The only reason I didn't vote for that one is I want to do a winter scheme myself and I'm scared yours looks better! )

Well I'm doing a Granby pink Jag (but in 72nd). I had ordered the MA sheet along with a couple of other bits, but my order arrived this morning without the sheet, which was out of stock.
So looks like I'm gonna have to fall back on my reserves. I got the old Xtradecal Gulf war special sheets, so I'll probably do either Fat Slags or the one with Sadam getting a British boot up the arse.

I'm gonna try and do the T bird I flew in on 6 sqn EZ with custom home made decals wish me luck

Right you are Mike, I'll be back on my own computer for a short while on Monday so can send them across then.

I'd got for either of the 54Sqn choices.

I'm probably going Gulf War, chosing summit from the MA 1:48 sheet MA-48117, giving me the choice of 12 airframes ranging from Johnny Fart Pants and Fat Slags to Debbie and Diplomatic Services... Not much in the way of decals on the sheet.

In deference to Mike though, if he decides to do Johnny, I'll do summit else... I've just spotted The Guardian Reader, and while one of the most boring ones, it made me smile. Will have to see nearer the time
