I have actually started the GR1 - according to the photo's a couple of years ago.....was there a GB on ARC? Anyway not touched it in over a year.... and I did take pictures...
This will be a 54 Sqn GR1 (probably XX721) as issued in 1975 with pointy nose.....

First of all The NeoMega cockpit - no 1/48th single seat Jag should be witout one!!

Paragon's resin & P.E. I don't think the pylons were ever released commercially - Neil kindly donated a pair when I started this build!!

I've started to bash the wings about a bit - in readiness for the slats and flappery!

I've opened up the wheel bays and blanked off with plastic card in readiness for some additional (well, quite a lot actually!) plumbing...

The Jag's cockpit is black. I normally paint "black" tub's in a very dark grey, but to me the Jag's pit should be semi-matt/satin black. I'm not 100% certain about the high-lighting at the moment - looks a bit too "white". I'll probably attend to that!!! I've given the seat an overall coat of black. The high-lighting should help when detailling it

I'll do a separate post for the T2/4......
I will add some pic's in a few days - I need to spend a bit of time on the Vulcan GB first though...

watching this with much interest - same thoughts as me Bill on the wheel bays. I notice quite a few jags sit with the larger door open and it puts such a different slant on a Jag kit.

Lots of WiP pics please speak_cool.gif

Looking good Bill. Considered opening these doors up on mine too but decided against it. The speed I build it would never be finished in time smile.gif
