The first flight sim I ever played with was the Sinclair one for the ZX-81 back in, I guess, 1981 or 1982... I remember being awestruck by the fact of how cool it was on the ZX-81 with 16k RAM pack...

Scrub forwards about 22 years...

Yesterday, thanks to the kindness of some great blokes, I had an opportunity to spend 2hrs flying an Airbus A320 full-motion simulator at the United Airlines FTC in Denver, CO. What an incredible experience. Truly remarkable.

Now, of course, I feel like updating my X-Plane on the Mac and getting some physical controls... aside from the CH Yoke and Pedals, anyone have any recommendations?

Thanks all

Playing flightims using the cursor keys those were the days. wink.gif

You cannot go wrong with the CH products it was my first Joystick for the Amiga and was like a Brick with a stick in the middle. Now with UltraMod for il2 i have the CH Hotas setup and everything really is at your fingertips. Personally I have not used the Yoke but if its as good as the Joystick you cannot go far wrong. Its very expensive kit though compared to say the Saitek.
