I just received a note from John aka 'Tigger'

As of yesterday I managed to secure the patterns for this range. I did a list this morning and I have the following.

Here is what I have found so far please remember that where I have missing parts I am going to try to speak to the orignal owner and see if he has some of them or alternatively I will try to get the parts and reverse engineer them to make the patterns.

As you can imaging some of these are mosnsters and will need specialist vac forming which is too big for my machine. I intend to do a run to the vac formers I have lined up approx twice a year and I would only get those done that people actually pay up front or at minimum a deposit for as I have to cover costs.

Also please bear in mind that if you have an ID models kit and it is missing parts I am not responsible for replacing them for free. I will replace parts but at a price. Some of these are also missing canopy masters but again I am working to try to find parts to reverse engineer.

Below is the list now.
I have deleated or removed those from the orignal list if I do not have them or if the model is currently or future to be released in injection moulded. After all there is no point in wasting time where there is a perfectly good kit available.

Please do not request these yet as I have some more work to do before they are ready and I will have to cost up the production and postage etc. Anyway in the mean time here you go.

John asked me so it could get posted here, not everyone can start a thread in the News section around here. Since I have nothing else going on in my life other than surfing the boards I've been tapped to be an 'official newshound' around here!

Plus I have to admit - if I have a blind spot on 72nd resin Czech kits, I'd really have one with vacforms - of anyones brand

Thank you so much Matt I appreciat e your help for your information I have bee removing the patterns from the backing boards today and have done 15 of nearly 90 so, I have loads left to do. There is some even more good news as this afternoon I had a visit from the orignal owner of the moulds and he was also the man who made them. We spent a few minutes having a bit of a quiz with some of the patterns that I could not identify and which had come off of thier backing sheets. he managed to identify 99% of the parts so that will help. We also discussed the possibility of getting pulls of the canopies and models I am missing and reverse engineering and he is willing to help out with this so in the fullness of time I should be able to offer noty only the model but the canopies too.

Just thought I would update you on events

As I work through them I have found something I thought I didn't have so now the item 16 F84 Thunderjet is now a complete master
Cheers for now

when I read this you moved to the top of my Christmas Card list ! I have been after the Meteor for donkeys and my mouth was well open at some of the possibilities opened up from whats on the list. I suspect there's a pile of work to be done first but when you are able to offer products consider the line of customers started already.

I just parked buying some other kits in anticpation of putting my wallet into intensive care !

John,

This is very good news. If you are trying to gauge interest to prioritise which kits you'd produce first, I'd add a vote for a Wyvern and Hudson. If you found the fuselage for the Beaufort, that would be top of the list for me. A Sunderland is also very tempting, but possibly just a tad too large.

Costing dependant, that B-52D is tempting. God knows how I'll get it past mother though! So you have the moulds for the main bodies of the kit, e.g. wings and fuse, or is there stuuf in there for U/C parts etc? Sorry John, i don't want to sound pushy, just intruiged!
