Here is my entry into the GB, the 1/72 scale Octopus(Pavla) Tigercat. I've been wanting to give this one a try for a while, almost sold it but decided to stash it for later. After looking it over I dove into it yesterday. Spent most of the day cleaning, and cleaning, and cleaning. hypnotised.gif Spent today cleaning some more! There is quite a bit of flash but luckily the plastic is soft enough that it's easy to get rid of quickly. It does have some nice detail, but this kit looks to be a real bear. It will definitely test my skills.
I will try to get some more photos up tomorrow. Looking forward to the other builds going on here!
Cheers,
Geoff

Whose blue are you going to use on this one, Geoff?

Hi I look forward to seeing this one built.

One thing i didn't realise about this aircraft is the side on stance shown in the box art. I bet it will be a right pain in the a$$ to get it to stand on its nose wheel.

Cheers

I believe that it was a bit of a pain in real life too - especially if the wing fuel tanks were emptied on the ground.. There are stories of it needing a 40 gallon drum under the tail to stop the thing from tipping up. owww.gif

Might be an idea to scratch up a oil drum then, good talking point.

Interesting to see how it compares to the older Monogram kit I've stashed away.
