Great picture!
You wouldn't possibly have it in higher resolution?

Neat pic, thanks Phil. At risk of sounding a bet wet, I reckon British Naval deisgn of this era produced some of the best looking & best proportioned designs of any nation. KGVs, Town class cruisers, Battle class destroyers & similar, lovely looking vessels all. That pic of the KGV is as good as I've seen though for capturing its "best" side.

Fantastic photo, if it was any bigger I'd have it as my desktop!

I`ve tried to enlarge the pic ,but without success, sorry. This was taken in Nova Scotia,I think she must have on a"work-up" cruise, and she must have been though some rough weather,as the orginal Dazzle pattern camo is showing though ,on the hull.,thats what I call weathering!

sorry again ,Phil

Wonderful. Thanks.

"...Is this a colourised print.."

No, it`s the real McCoy,it was among a large collection of wartime colour photos recently discovered in a Canadian museum.I`ve posted a couple of others of a Canadian Corvette and Frigate on BM.

cheers Phil

Found another one ,it`s not as good as the first, but it would make an interesting diorama.Photo taken 10 April1942
