It's big, it's beautiful, it's British, it's rare (beinga two-seater) and it's extremely eye-catching. Perfect show material - I imagine you will be beating them off with a stick on Sunday.
Congratulations!

Brilliant mate.

Its huge!, nice colour scheme too (nearly). I wonder if you'll get that in a magazine. There was a chap on here did with his cut and shut 1/32 Lightning T5.
Steve.
Looks fantastic, like it alot in this scheme
Always liked the two seat hunters though...

That's beautiful! Great job!!

I actually dug my Academy/aeroclub bits out of the pile last night, I think this may actually galvanise me into starting to stick them together!
Cheers

Lovely! This scheme really does bring out the lines of the Hunter beautifully.
My only comment is that XF321 (in it's RAE days) was a T.7A and so was fitted with an arrestor hook.
Cheers,

Just stop it...ok?
Beautiful, gorgeous, stunning...now stop annoying us mere mortals...or else.

Thanks for the nice comments everyone, much appreciated! Arrestor hook comment noted, seems I have finally found a Modeldecal sheet that needs a correction, I may modify the model if I can find a decent photo.
It will be displayed at Shuttleworth on Sunday although not neccesarily on the Wallingford stand, hope to see some of you there. MODeller

Hi MODeller,
This is about the clearest I've found so far...
Hunter T.7A XF321 at Greenham CommonThe arrestor hook arrangement is exactly the same as on the GA.11s and T.8s, so you could use any of them as references too.

Thanks for that Steve, there is an arrestor hook in the Echelon parts box so it will be duly attached on Monday! MODeller

Good man!
Don't forget that the tail bumper was larger than on the non-arrestor hook aircraft, a little further aft (straddling the tailcone/fuselage joint) and offset to port to clear the hook.

Nice ripple hunter!
That looks really good, nice job on the colours.
Can I ask exactly what you used as I have the Ripple DC-3 in the stash waiting.

Hi Julien, I have used Revell Aqua Gloss White 04 and Gloss Night Blue 54 with Xtracrylics Signal Red. You could use Humbrol Gloss Midnight Blue 15 and Satin Signal Red 174 as alternatives. MODeller

Hi Brian, You have my mouth watering. After seeing this & your magazine spread, I now know what the first aircraft model I build will be, after I finish my Spanish dragoon conversion. I have an Aeroclub 2 seat Hunter in my stash that will soon see the light of day. Carl T

Thanks for the photo conformation Dave, I have the necessary parts so will be converting to tailhook ASAP! The model was well received at Shuttleworth on Sunday as I managed to grab a couple of empty tables and put on a "mini" Testing Colours display. MODeller
