This one's from RPM, a 1:35 scale Renault FT-17 tank. The first true tank with a 360o rotating turret. This one took part in the closing days of WWI, but the type was still in service at the outbreak of WWII... hopelessly outclassed by then and easy meat for the Germans.

The interior is mostly scratch built, as are the front suspension mounts & track tensioning parts. Lots of icky brittle plastic to contend with too, but I enjoyed the build immensely smile.gif

Build thread here if you're interested.

Eduard Weekend Edition Pfalz D.IIIa, completely OOB with a couple of scratch built details (Bezels, radiator pipe, ammo belts and cocking handles). Rigged with home made buckles and elastic.

Well, once again I am reluctant to post the poor results of my meagre talent, but you all need a good laugh, so here is the first of my builds for this GB,
the British Mk.IV "female" Tank in 1/72 scale, Kit by Emhar, built OOB in one of the kit's decal options, paint by Revell acrylic and Humbrol enamel, decals
applied using the "Microscale system".

I've now found the "Macro" setting on SWMBO's digital camera!

I enjoyed this build, I do feel my weathering ended up a bit heavy-handed, but then it is built by me, so rubbish is to be expected!

This is SE5a C1106 1 Sqn. Clairmarais South, France, June 1918. piloted by 1st. Lt. D.Knight.

Please be gentle with me as this is my first 'stringbag' I've ever completed, also my first GB I've ever completed.

Many thanks to all who have advised me, to Mr. Bob and his Buckles, also to Rowan Broadbent of Pheon Models for his superb decals.
