Well, there we have it folks!

Congratulations to Chris for his winning Pfalz. Lovely build there mate.

Congratulations also go to 2nd place to Karl for his Pfalz, and to Jen for her 3rd place Eindecker.

I'll sort out later today or tomorrow the prizes and put a post up.

Many thanks to everyone for making this a great GB. They're all winning builds, and I hope we can arrange another one of these WW1 GB's again soon.

All the best,

Nick

Well done to everyone in the GB, every model entered was superb.

Nick, many thanks for an excellent GB, and congratulations to all those who finished. As ever, some very good builds and a real difficult choice for the voting.

A well deserved set of winning models, definitely the pick of the bunch!

Cheers

Hokey cokey pig in a pokey!

Here we go with the WW1 GB awards ceremony..

Drum roll please....

1st place - Chris receives a fantastic Blue Max Roland CII from Bob von Buckle.

2nd place - Karl receives a lovely Revell Shackleton with Airwaves set from Grant.

3rd place - Jen receives a 10 quid Hannants gift voucher.

4th place - Peter receives an Italeri P-47 from Karl

Col and Grant will each receive a bottle of Phil's wash, and I'll send Chris a kit from my beloved stash once I've figured out what.

Fair enough lady and gents?

Oh, I guess as mod, I can't give myself a prize, but as the technical 4th place winner, in case anyone wants to send me anything, I won't say no.. rofl.gif

I'll PM you all tomorrow so you can get in touch with each other to swop addresses etc.

Righto.. Back to work.

Thanks for making this a great GB.

Well Done Chris, and all the others smile.gif
Erwin
I also donated two prizes (see link).

Who wins those ?

dylan the rabbit
Erwin, thank you. I can't think why they slipped my mind.

Two more prizes! A Revell DVII like wot I built for the GB, and a Squadron/Signal book on the P-39 Airacobra. Nice.

How shall we allocate them?

Any suggestions anyone? One each to the 2nd and 3rd place winners perhaps?

Cheers,

Nick

Or a raffle amongst those that didn't win anything yet ?
dylan the rabbit
Ah, but if you re-read my earlier post, you'll see everyone (except me) will get a prize.

I already have the P-39 book, and don't want to build another Revell DVII, so that sort of puts me out too..

That's ofcourse a problem.

I have two helo kits (one 48 th ,one 72 nd) that I will never build.

Do you build helos ? If not, what's your interest and scale ?
dylan the rabbit
Oh Erwin, that's very kind of you if you're offering.

Helo's aren't really my thing. Mostly WW1/2 and any scale, but please don't worry. As mod, I sort of took a step back from any prizes.

I am thinking of entering the SEAC build though. Another Hurricane I'm afraid, but at least it's something!

Cheers mate,

Nick

Hi,

Good to see you intend to enter the SEAC GB.

Not much point in sending you a helo kit if it's not realy your thing.

It's difficult to donate a prize when not knowing what you have in your stach.

dylan the rabbit
Well, I was a little late in doing so, but I think you've all been given each others addresses for posting of gifts to start.

Watch the post!

Thanks for making this GB a lot of fun.

All the best,

Nick
