If it's as good as the Clear Prop kit it should be a nice kit, although I haven't seen the KP kit yet (which I no doubt will). I already have the Clear Prop kit, although I haven't built it yet. I have done quite a bit of work on the Clear Prop razorback La-5 and everything seems to fit quite well with good moulding. This KP kit appears to be of a converted LaGG-3 as it still has the bulged tailwheel doors (like the Clear Prop kit). It also appears to have the flat (not necessarily armoured) windscreen of later La-5s, but it's hard to tell without seeing the kit (the Clear Prop kit has the slightly rounded windscreen of early La-5s). Now if only someone would do the Lavochkin fighters in 1/32 scale! In IM plastic, of course. Best Regards, Jason

That is a brilliant model! I may even have the decals for this aircraft - definitely one to considering building. Regards, Jason -
It must be Spitfire/Seafire day! I just made a post on the Type 300! I do think the Seafire FR.47 is my favourite Spitfire/Seafire though. Regards, Jason

Beautiful! I have a resin Type 300, and someday I'll build it (he says hopefully!). Regards, Jason

As I've said several times on this site, the Blackburn Blackburn, the aeroplane so beautiful they had to name it twice! Brilliant job on the kit. I do have the Contrail kit, but I haven't mustered up the courage to attempt it. It's not that I'm afraid of vacuform, I just don't like it very much. I may even have the Bison kit buried somewhere in my storeroom/vault. Regards, Jason

Nice job on what is the best kit of the arrow (swept-wing two-seater). The only thing is that the thinking on the camouflage has changed over the years. This particular version would have been green, dark gray, and tan colour over the blue. Although you see it in so many books and profiles, that chocolate brown was not used. Otherwise, a very nice job! Best Regards, Jason

Welcome to the site, indeed! If you decide to try some Soviet warplanes, I know a bit about those, especially the WWII types. Best Regards, Jason

I have some kits I hope to finish before proton decay destroys the Universe.* Best Regards, Jason *I believe this is from quantum physics, the science so weird that Einstein just shrugged his shoulders about it and said 'Whatever...'.

Excellent job on that Neptune! I'm a bit of a 'Neptune boy' myself, and I've been working on and off on an OP-2E for years. Speaking of which I need to get back to work on it. Regards, Jason P.S. Nice work on the exhausts!

1/72 Grumman JRF Goose - reworked release by Sword
Learstang replied to Middo's topic in The Rumourmonger
I saw that on the Sword site today. It was a bit of a surprise, but a nice one. I've always liked flying boats/amphibians so I just might have to pick up one of these. Regards, Jason -
Yes, your Generalship, I believe this one is even weird enough for me. Now if they'd only do a Blackburn Blackburn... Best Regards, In Perpetuity I Remain, Jason
