    Use Humbrol Clearfix. Dip a cocktail stick in the clearfix to get a drop on the end, touch the drop inside the window opening and move it around a bit until surface tension creates a film across the window opening. Withdraw the cocktail stick and allow the clearfix to dry. Repeat for every window.

    I found this online tool for rescaling: https://www.scalemodelersworld.com/online-scale-converter-tool.html It's really helpful if like me, you hate maths. I just plug the result into the transform tool of Meshmixer to rescale.

    Hi Stu, Thanks for the reply, I have bought a second model for the missing parts so I could supply them to be duplicated if that,s possible, the main part is the base which is quite large, how that went missing I shall never know.

      I have taken photos of the parts from other models, Grey is the Ukraine version,

      dark blue is the UK version, hence the colour difference.

      I can't seem to load them here.

       

      If you can help, can you tell me which parts are possible to duplicate.

    I could certainly print anything you like if you can supply the stl files of the missing parts. I don't have the talent to design the parts. Do you just need parts duplicated? Or are the parts completely missing? Stuart

    I think I'll see how it compares to the Meng kit before getting one. The rain tyres are interesting though.

    I have never seen any Coopers or Bristols in 12th scale. There was a 20th scale Cooper T51 in resin released a few years ago. The British F1 cars are a bit under-represented kit wise.

    They seem to have reduced their output quite considerably from their heyday, but the product listings for them on Hobby Search show a tyre mask for the 1/12th Lotus 99T: https://www.1999.co.jp/eng/11055349 So they are still producing new stuff, just not much.

    I was at Sandown toy fair when they filmed the show. The majority of stuff on the stalls is over priced. If there were any bargain kits I would have Hoovered them up.

    If you are still after these, Tony James (Timelss hobbies ) had some on his stand at Telford today. They show as sold out on the website but it may be worth giving him a ring.

    $13,750 for the syrup. $55,000 for a 7 of 9 catsuit vs $35,000 for an Original series Dr McCoy uniform (I can't imagine why, it doesn't come with Jeri Ryan still in it!)
