  1. I'm following this with interest as I'm waiting for one to be delivered. I have always liked the look of the Marauder, something quite sleek about it and yet quite bulky as well. Out of interest, because there is a problem with my delivery, could you measure the box for me please? Looking forward to seeing more.
  2. Stunning, absolutely stunning and the posed photos against the back drop... šŸ‘
  3. Wonderfully superb, and it looks absolutely beautiful.
  4. Looks excellent to me šŸ‘ Almost like looking down the fuselage of the real thing.
  5. My Dambuster arrived last night, I was keen to check out the clear sprues. The box is much bigger and the original clear sprues are in their own box in a compartment. Thatā€™s really good news. There is a however though. Border have produced an additional sprue, it is too big to fit in the box with the other sprues and is slipped in down the side. On my kit, one of the turret mouldings is broken but my understanding is that some of the clear parts are duplicated in the event of damage so itā€™s not a problem that one item is broken. The new clear sprue does have some new parts as well. Iā€™d post pictures if I had the timeā€¦
  6. Border Dambuster Lanc, being delivered by Parcelforce tomorrow, coincidentally at the same time as a new artificial Christmas tree so we'll see if stealth mode works getting in without the wife noticing šŸ˜‰

    Fuel prices

Prices at the pumps right now are lower than I've seen in over a year and maybe closer to 18 months. Can't see it staying that way for too long though!
  8. This is is simply stunning and the grey certainly looks better. Ever since Airfix did KL-B as one option of their Superkit it has always been a must have for me and after reading his book "Nine Lives" one wonders that Al Deere did actually survive the war.
  9. Phew, where to start... the same as last year, except this year I'm a bit more organised. Finish: 1/24 Spitfire Mk.Ia to IX conversion, 1/24 Mosquito, Tamiya 1/48 Mosquito, early Airfix 1/72 "G- George" Lanc and 1/48 Accurate Miniatures Dauntless. Paint my 1/24 Trumpeter Hurricane, 1/72 Frog Tempest and 1/72 Airfix Gnat. My other hobby is R/C models, specifically scale sailplanes, I'm building a 1/4 scale Slingsby Skylark 4 and have a number of other part built models to finish. And all this without starting anything new.
  10. I use Nord and I'm told it enhances security... no doubt someone knowledgeable will confirm/deny this aspect but I do find it useful in other areas and is therefore worth the money to me.
  11. About 4 inches in Shropshire (for you youngsters that is about 100mm) last night, very pretty, the dog seems to love it. Today, it's been dull and just above freezing so mostly wet snow and slush, the dog loves that too... lying by the fire šŸ¤£
  12. Thanks for posting this. What a beautiful piece of music, watching Dr Who will never be the same.
  13. Well, apart from perfume you meanā€¦ . ā€˜Tis the season šŸ˜‰ A Tamiya Spitfire Mk.IXc from one 48 on here, I sold mine a while back and regretted it ever since. A Border Lancaster Nose Art from Jadlam, both in the postā€¦ canā€™t wait.
