  1. A question please for the Sea Fury experts. I am making the DBMK kit and making my own serial numbers to reproduce WJ233 as flown by Sub Lt. "Smoo" Ellis. The only pictures I can find of the airframe seem to show non-bulged wheel-well doors but other airframes ordered in the same batch I have found pictures with bulges. Which option would you go for?
  2. Thank you.
  3. Saying hello after a long hiatus. I have been making model AFV's for the last few years and will shortly going back to making wingy things. If I have understood the instructions correctly you should see a picture of my AH Panther II build.
  4. So it looks like there is just dual controls and no radar scope for the back seat?
  5. In box review here:
  6. Jumblies are doing them for £59.95 for either version or £94.95 for the big box version which is the one I have pre-ordered.
  7. RRP's on the UK importers website. https://www.bachmann.co.uk/category/pb-coming-soon/takom At under £70 I am up for it.
  8. Lovely build. I found your build when I was looking at what version T-55 to build. Am I missing something obvious here or did you make a decision not to attach parts PEa62? Or is it something not needed on an Iraqi version? I have kit 37068 coming and the Iraqi option 5 in the instructions has them attached. Sorry to be a pain but I know nothing about post-ww2 Soviet armour. https://miniart-models.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/10/37068_instruction.pdf
  9. This is going to be expensive.. https://www.scalemates.com/kits/1167941-wingnut-wings-32044-avro-lancaster-b-mk-iii-dambusters
  10. Thank you all.
  11. I have got this decal sheet coming https://www.hannants.co.uk/product/FCM32006 and a Trumpeter P47-D Bubbletop. This site http://www.worldmilitair.com/production/rep ap14.htm says it is a -25RE whereas: 'Republics P-47 Thunderbolt From Seversky to Victory', Appendix B by Warren M. Bodie says KJ194 is a -28RE they can not both be right. As far as I can tell the -25RE had a ribbed floor and the -28RE smooth. Can anyone please help?
  12. I have this decal sheet: https://www.hannants.co.uk/product/X32058 I have the MDC RP rounds and single rails so was going to do RF838 "EO A". The drawing of the underside has the fuel tanks inboard of the formation lights and the 4 RP rails outboard on each side. The position of the fuel tanks on the model are outboard of the lights. So I am confused. Reference photos I have in books and have seen on the web which have have 8 single rail RP rounds don't have fuel tanks like this: I have a picture of a machine with both fuel tanks and 8 RP rounds on MkIII tiered rails on page 16 of "Banff Strike Wing at War" by Les Taylor which has the tanks where Tamiya have them and the tiered rails all outboard of the formation lights. So has Hannants got it wrong for the option I want to do. All help gratefully recieved. Thank you.

  14. Going to build it as this:http://www.airliners.net/photo/Russia-Air-Force/Sukhoi-Su-17M4/2239175/L How this sound for the camo:Dark Green FS34079 = MRP-110Dark Brown FS30108 = MRP-108Sand FS30279 = MRP-243Blue underside FS35526 = MRP-044The only one that is a total guess is the dark brown.Any thoughts/comments welcome please.FYI I have been in touch with Jim at Aeromasks and he is doing the camo masks for the above machine including the shark mouth. They will be available soon from his website: http://www.advmodprds.com/aeromasks2.html Thank you
