  1. That’s a shame. Thank you for confirming.
  2. Evening all, Does anyone know if there is a model show for this year or not?
  3. For myself living in Middlesex (aka Surrey), following shops were iconic back in 80’s / early 90’s:- Gamleys - Staines-Upon-Thames (knocked down in early 2000’s and now a road!) Beatties - Kingston-Upon-Thames (bought out by Modelzone and the rest is history. Building recently knocked down and huge apartment / office block there now) The Aviation Hobby Shop (renamed AJ Aviation) - West Drayton (memories of myself & my Dad spending many an hour perusing around that shop. An absolute Aladdin’s cave. Closed in 2022. Not sure what’s there now, haven’t the heart to look) On the plus side, my daughter started University at York last year and I stumbled across Monk’s Bar Model shop. The look on my wife’s face (and mine probably) was priceless! Have a good weekend everyone! x
  4. Yeah, great show - really enjoyed myself. Only slight issue I had this morning was finding a car park space at leisure centre. Turns out a 5k park run starts there at 9am and is the main reason why car park was so full. Anyway, a little patience and luck saved the day! Looking forward to next years!
  5. Absolutely speechless - that poor family have certainly had their fair share of tragedies over the years! RIP Richard.
  6. KLF - Chill Out. Iconic.
  7. Xtracolor (Hannants) or Phoenix Precision enamel paints?
  8. Ocean Colour Scene at The Astoria in March 2000 - brilliant and crazy gig at a venue well missed. If memory serves, the warm up was a not very well known band who only had a top 35 song at the time called Coldplay. I distinctly remember Chris Martin introducing their last song of the set which was being released shortly saying he hopes it goes a little higher than No.35 in the charts…that song was Yellow. The rest is history.
  9. Announced same weekend as “Masters of the Air” is released…. Nice work Border Models.
  10. 26 years old…I naively always think of him being in his mid to late 30’s during the war. 26 years old….blimey.
  11. Lovely Spitfires. Colourcoats paints look spot on in terms of colour accuracy.
  12. Now in stock at Models For Sale, Tony.
  13. I believe D.Gilmour did a surprise one off guest vocal for Comfortably Numb on R.Waters “The Wall” tour which was after Live 8?
  14. Great start - Looking forward to seeing more of your first build on Britmodeller since joining.
  15. Just seen the footage on the news - absolutely shocking. RIP to all those on board. 😢
