  1. Well I got mine today, and no windows what so ever, so be careful.
  2. So then it appears this beast can be tamed then. I've got to say that it does look like a Mig29 and you've done quite an interesting scheme. However, I think if mine turns out half as good as yours I'd be very happy. Mr Jynx.
  3. It's all right PacificMustang I understand. The reason why I didn't go into full details about any issues with this kit is that I thought that they had been highlighted before on the internet and by people who would most likely know all if any faults with a kit. When a kit is re-issued I often find the main change is to the decal sheet which a certain Japanese company is doing with their re-issues. However the one thing that people might not have been aware of with this release is that to fit it into the box one of the blades and tail rotors is not attached to their main sprue but is seperate. I'm not sure if this is just my boxing or not but it may be of help for people who have no choice but to use mail order. Mr Jynx.
  4. Surely GoCompare instead?.
  5. Phew!. Thought I might of missed something as it was just meant to be a review of what's in the box. I just felt like I was owed an explanation as none was given. Mr Jynx.
  6. Why?. Whats wrong with it. Mr Jynx.
  7. Hi Mark. I don't know if this will be of any help but a reference from SAM Aug88 shows a Canberra PR.9 No342 Of the Chilean Air Force as Dark Green/ Dark Sea Grey upperside with Light Aircraft Grey underside. All markings are black apart from white star on rudder. If you would like me to I could post pictures later on.
  8. Looks good to me so far. I've yet to try photoetch but it does seem to add so much more to your model. Keep it up.
  9. I look forward to it. Will you be telling us which issue as that magazine is not my usual buy, but I'll get that issue.

    Future gone bad?

My only bottle of Klear has a yellow tinge to it now and hasn't changed the results one bit, but if in doubt buy a cheap kit and test it out. I'm sure you could justify it as I'm sure there are others who would be interested in the results.
  11. Nice start there . I'll be watching this one with interest.
  12. Should be quite interesting to see how the UB/GT version compares to the A model. And the fuselage is stamped 1991 not 1992 .
  13. So then, does this mean your getting one for a magazine review/build?. I think that the fuselage is stamped Revell1992 but they may have revised the other parts so it would be interesting to see if their are any differences. The Trumpeter models I'm sure are great but at nearly three times the price they should be. After all the Revell kit does look like a Mig29, doesn't it?, and for around £35 it's not too bad I suppose.
  14. Well done on third place . That James May has a lot to answer for doesn't he?.
