Here is my entry it's the Hasegawa Jag with the airwaves seat and wings plus some odds and sods from an Airfix kit. Hopefully it will be a snow cat from 41 Squadron on exercise snowgoose Bardufoss Norway 2003.

Here is the Airwaves wing sitting on the Hasegawa fuselage, a nice tight fit around the sides and a small bit of filler needed near the intakes. So far the overall fit is not bad considering the age of the kit but it will need rescribing after the joints are tidied up and a wee piccie of how it will look when finished.

I've got one of these in my stash, so watching this one. There's a QinetiQ chap here (ex-RAF Sgt) who was on Jags in Norway. He said they painted them with a blueish wash in circles and it apparently was very effective. I've seen a photo somewhere being bounced around. Good luck though, that's alot of weathering!

An update and a small gripe, the plastic used for the sprue gates is pretty big and hard and even with careful cutting leaves big marks on the kit and the panel lines are so soft on the kit they easily disappear with a rub from a used blue/orange Mastercaster sponges so loads of re-scribing to do :angrysoapbox.sml: Rant over, I have assembled the rear of the kit and fitted the resin wings and I am using Mr Dissolved Putty for the first time as a filler.

very good Jaguar!! I very well know about the hard plastic used by Hasagawa, They use some what softer now a days, the hard plastic was nightmare when sanding the model. I have the new Italeri Jaguars in my stash, and I adore the 2seat!!
