Do you remember the talentuous chinese kit designer named M. Song who worked for Trumpeter and who's now working for Kitty Hawk Model ( http://s511.photobuc...Sepecat Jaguar/ ).

His current employer has obviously taken over this project as M. Song has just published, on his personal photopage, CAD drawings of a SEPECAT Jaguar A (the French version) and announced this Jag as one of the next 1/48th Kitty Hawk kit.

To be followed.

It's now confirmed by the communication manager of Kitty Hawk Model, Glen Coleman (alias KAGNEW) himself:

Their website is utterly unhelpful, but we have seen physical evidence of the first two releases, so maybe I should cheer up. It is a very strange mix of releases though.A new tooled 1/48 Bucc would be beyond belief though!

Had a look at your hobby search link Homebee and saw this Heller Jaguar GR.1/3 boxing that I've never seen before. Looks like their current box style but I'm pretty sure it wasn't announced at the trade shows, is it out yet? http://www.1999.co.jp/eng/10200366 Jaguar A is listed too.

From that it looks like Heller are reissuing both their own Jaguar A version of the Airfix kit and the Airfix GR.1/GR.3 version. HLJ has them slated for October release.

Time to dig out all those Paragon bits and bobs from the stash then...

Hannants have an eduard 48th jag listed as a future release. Seems everyone is jumping on the jagwagon

Weren't Eduard supposed to have been re-releasing the Airfix Jag with etch/resin extras a while back? I'd assume that now Heller appear to be re-releasing it under their own label that may have bitten the dust? Hannants do have the Heller Jaguar A as a future release...but then again they also have the (alleged) 1/48 Italeri Jaguar listed too.

And there's nowt wrong with 1/48 for those with ailing eyesight Colin. And for Jonners, French Jags are more than acceptable too!!

Those pics of the Buccaneer are quite impressive, it will be even more impressive it actually makes it onto the shelves of my local model shop alongside an RAF Jaguar!

Hannants shows The Jaguar A from Kitty Hawk as available from early December 2012. The Heller A is priced at £24.99 but no date shown as yet. Hope that Kitty Hawk price theirs accordingly. I would prefer that they didn't complicate the kit by opening panels on the fuselage and kept the price down. I do, however, want the flaps and slats option.

Just take a look at this:

http://www.hannants....e=&save_search=

See how many jaguars are up to be released in the future. :banghead:

I suppose the 2 Eduard kits are re-releases of the the old Heller kits.

If the Italeri kit is really going to be new tooling, then i can't wait to see pics of the Kitty Hawk and Italeri NEW kits sprues! :hobbyhorse::yahoo:

But...what about their prices???? :cold:
