Hallo again

Here are some updates

I got almost everything painted and ready, the turret has been weathered and chipped inside

so now we are ready for the first colour "Olivengrun"

gul.jpg

This looks like this:

Grn-1.jpg

I am not 100% happy with it, but since its my first freehand job I will do some touch up later

Then on with the "Chokoladenbraun"

brun.jpg

I have done a little touch up with dunkelgelb, there are a few spot I am not happy with, but I hope to

fix it during the weathering process

Now it drying time for a few days and the gloss varnish

Thank you

Tamiya don't make the 234 series, only the 232 series, the 234 series was build on experience

from the 232 series

Dragon and Italeri makes the 234 vehicle series

Bo

Coming along nicely...I built the Tamya (iirc) version many years ago.

Thanks for all the kind remarks

I sealed the decals today with a thin coat of modelmaster gloss varnish

Next is wash, more pix on the way

Bo

Well a little further progress

A coat of Modelmaster gloss varnish and the decals, I use the kit decals

decaler.jpg

Next is more Gloss varnish to seal decals and later wash/weathering

After the last layer of gloss coat was dry I open up Promodeller's Dark dirt wash and put it on

wash.jpg

After about an hour drying I used many, many many cotton swaps dipped in water to remove most of it again

I also mounted the 20 mm and coax into the turret, I added a belt of amo to the coax

The turret from above

I have put all the wheels together and they will get a coat of gloss varnish later tonight

Hallo

I got a bit more done

Underside was given dark wash in all nooks and crannies, Wheels as well

20 cottonswaps later it looked like this

removed.jpg

I will let it dry out before next steep, mudbrown wash all over

Just for the fun I did a naughty dry fit:
