dswoofie Posted February 29, 2008 Posted February 29, 2008 I likey! Nice! Nice! Nice! Looks like you've spent some work on bringing that up to standard! Have you got any pictures and description of the build process. I've just got one of these kits and would maybe like to do an AEW.2 Karl.
Gary West Posted February 29, 2008 Posted February 29, 2008 Lovely build - nice to see an AEW 2 i/o of a 3 as well
AnonymousDFB1 Posted February 29, 2008 Posted February 29, 2008 Oh yummy, superb, splendid, What else can I say? Oh magnificent. I love it.
Mark Posted February 29, 2008 Posted February 29, 2008 Now that is one very nice model! I'd forgotten how colourful the Shacks could be!
perry Posted February 29, 2008 Posted February 29, 2008 Great finish you've got there! I wish we saw more Shackletons on here, I used to love seeing them fly over. What did people used to say about them, "10,000 rivets flying in close formation?"
Cornish Posted February 29, 2008 Posted February 29, 2008 (edited) Excellent looking model. The weapons bay and weathering really set it off well. I dare'nt contemplate how long it took to paint each of those propeller tips. Edited February 29, 2008 by Cornish
Vlamgat9 Posted February 29, 2008 Posted February 29, 2008 WOW - this kit requires ALOT of work to get even close to this. I am in awe!
goshagk Posted February 29, 2008 Author Posted February 29, 2008 Thanks !!!!!!!!!! Some pics of working process : 3
Angels49 Posted February 29, 2008 Posted February 29, 2008 Superbly built and weathered ol' man, Good show that.
Ali62 Posted February 29, 2008 Posted February 29, 2008 Fantastic Model One of the best models I have seen for a long time and must be the best Shackleton I have ever seen built. Ali
Takamota Posted February 29, 2008 Posted February 29, 2008 WOW! Yeah baby! That's so good it's hurting my eyes! Great job mate
dylan the rabbit Posted February 29, 2008 Posted February 29, 2008 "BOIIING!" said Zebedee. Bloody lovely that.
OzH Posted February 29, 2008 Posted February 29, 2008 Supurb, I had to check that it was 72nd thought someone had brought out a kit in 48th!!
Smiffy Posted February 29, 2008 Posted February 29, 2008 Now that, I LIKE. I've had this kit, along with the Aeroclub conversion, in my stash for years (waiting for me to get enough courage to start it). Yours looks Fantastic. Bloody good job there.
Pete 'o' probe Posted February 29, 2008 Posted February 29, 2008 Bloody fantastic what a build Zebedee I see
canberraman Posted February 29, 2008 Posted February 29, 2008 A fantastic model! What most impressed me having done the AEW2 conversion myself, is the work that has been put in to sand off the 10 million or so rivets and replace with lots of excellently scribed lines. Well done!! thumbsup:
andy Posted February 29, 2008 Posted February 29, 2008 very nice build, never seen zebedee with a white painted upper fuselage. are you sure it should not be extra dark sea grey overall? 1
eng Posted February 29, 2008 Posted February 29, 2008 WOW, a very beautiful piece of work. I've got one of these tucked away for a rainy day! Eng
