Hi there, my name is Doug. I live in West Sussex (England) with my lovely wife.
We have a dog, and three cats (two of which are brothers).
Been modelling since I was around 7 or 8 years old I guess, used to visit my grandparents house in New Cross and they had a newsagents just at the bottom of their road and I think it was here that I got my first model.
Took a lengthy break from modelling, as a lot of people do, and have got back into it over the last three or four years. While surfing the www I noticed a decal set called 'Aces of the Empire' by Victory Productions, and I just new I had to have it. This set has markings for 40! different Spitfires, so far I've made six of them (and a Seafire FR47 in kit markings) plus a load of tanks I got into following a visit to Normandy.
What else, I am a PADI qualified rescue diver and enjoy good food (wife is a qualified chef!) walking and climbing. Hoping to embark on some sort of cycling gig soon too, living so close to the South Downs be a crime not to.
