I've been building models since about 1960 when my mum bought me an Airfix Skyhawk from Woolworths.
My interests are the Battle of Britain, the RNZAF and fifties jets. When not building aircraft I do the occasional 1/48th scale AFV and I am also a wargamer so I usually have some 28mm figures on the go or a FOW 15mm army. I am currently painting some 28mm Empress Miniature Maoris and British for the 1846 Maori War
I am the SIG Leader of the IPMS(UK) New Zealand Aviation SIG and I was the the Leader of the IPMS(UK) Battle of Britain SIG until early 2011. I am also a member of the Bomber Command SIG, Sabre SIG and the SAC SIG.
