George Norman
Folks, After having several Protojets resin lightnings stored, I decided to give one a bash a few weeks back. I have more or less come to the finish but I have to spray the 'Pale Blue' Area on the side of the nose intake. Is there any folks out there that know the correct Humbrol shade that would be suitable? I was thinking of using Xtracolour Flanker light blue which does not seem to bad of a match. cheers George. Graham T
Is this the lightning flash marking? Only got one shot (from the Crowood Aviation series book) & that's in b/w. Paint it as you see fit & let someone prove you wrong!

The Blue carries down from the Back Anti glare panel down to the lightning flash half way down the side of the airframe. tks George
Graham T
Yes, I guess if you'd meant the flash you'd have SAID the flash. Looking at the pic, yes this area bounded by the a/g panel, the nose ring & the flash does appear to be painted as opposed to NMF but my comment about the colour to use still stands! Interestingly, in the pic, it's in company with a single seater P1B XG331 which is painted in the same manner.
